Off The Diaper

I am happy of Jadyn's progress, she doesn't need a diaper anymore or at least during the day. If she wants to relieve herself, she'd tell me saying "Mommy gonna pee towit (toilet). Last night I didn't put her diaper on and she did it successfully I mean there was no leak nor she peed in the bed. This is what I have been wanting to do, potty train her because you know it's such a waste of money to keep buying diapers and just throwing it away afterwards. If she continues doing such a good job then I can proudly say I did it, we both did it.

Back in Texas I couldn't do the no diaper policy for I am worried she would just pee in the carpet. Her daddy will get mad for it makes the carpet stinky. Way to go baby girl!

Address Signs

Commercial and residential addresses should have clearly marked address signs that is visible in the street so post men and other mail courier systems could easily identify the house number or the address you live. I notice there are houses in our neighborhood have poor address sign which is a hassle for everyone who wants to come to their house attending an event. Business establishments also should have nicely done address plaque outside their suite or building for not all people are smart enough locating their place.

I know a website where you can purchase the absolute lowest prices on address plaques, signs, address numbers, address posts and many others all custom made that shipped quickly to you. For any information or inquiry please do not hesitate to contact the customer service for assistance every step of the way. They are extremely knowledgeable about the products we offer, and can assist you with everything from pricing large jobs, to layout design.

New Nails

Nice mommy's nails that's what my Jadyn says (said rather) when we were at my favorite parlor today. This is my third time I have my nails done since I arrived here three weeks ago. What a nice life to be able to afford to have a foot spa, pedicure and manicure at least every two weeks. This is something I cannot do in the US to be honest. For a foot spa and nails today I only paid 300 pesos! Weewww what a deal. I told to the owner of the salon that I will keep coming back as long as I am here in the Philippines. Oh by the way, they should give me sweet deals when I go to their place for I have been going to their salon for years.

Restaurants and bars are the common places where you can see glass racks, wine glass rack and other stuff that are used in order to serve drinks and other beverages. When I see one, I am like, WOW! They are neatly arranged and very nice to look at. If you own a bar, you are lucky for there are wine glass racks for sale right now with high quality. Jolli Spaghetti Yummy

Jadyn must be hungry when I took her to Jollibee right after church last Sunday for she ate the spaghetti as soon as it was served in front of her. I know my girl, she doesn't like those kind of foods but at that time, she just ate the noodles with no hesitation or without me forcing her to eat it. I will try next time again if she still have the same appetite for spaghetti just like last Sunday. That I way I am going to find out whether Jollibee spaghetti is special for her or not...

Leather

I have always wanted to buy a leather jacket or leather gloves but for some reason I keep putting it off. Maybe because I have other priorities to spend my money on or perhaps they are not too important to me because Winter in Texas is not that bad and it lasted only for 3 months. A nice warm ordinary coat and a warm pair of gloves are good enough but who knows someday I can own one?

On the other hand, people who love riding in their motorcycle they have to have at least one leather jacket, leather gloves during cold days, a pair of motorcycle boots and motorcycle helmets to gear up themselves to complete the outfit and be ready to go motorcycling. I think people who have complete leather outfits while in their motorcycle look cool. I have seen a lot of them in group or individually in Texas roads when we drive down South before.

I guess it wouldn't be hard to buy those kind of stuff since they are available almost everywhere. On the internet alone, shoppers can find tons of websites that sell real good leather with good discounts. A perfect example of the website is www.leatherup.com, the most popular online motorcycle store.

School Christmas Party

I am excited for my baby girl's first school children Christmas Party. She is going to be joining the Christmas party of my little siblings in their school this Friday. I hope she likes it there and enjoy the games and the exchanging gifts with a bunch of kids. I brought her nice dress that she only worn once in Texas but she still got no shoes that match with the dress so I am buying her a pair of red shoes today despite of the gloomy and rainy weather. Nothing can stop me from going out today so I can get this errand over with. I also would like to buy some presents for her and my little siblings that they can bring to school. Ohh geezz I am one excited mommy here.

It's Positive!!

I tested my first pee this morning and it turned out to be POSITIVE! That means I AM PREGNANT now! I am still not convinced with it, I need a doctor's confirmation for this one before I could totally say I am having ANOTHER BUNDLE OF JOY inside my womb. For now, I feel like pregnant. I craved for sour fruits like tamarind and iba dip in salt.

Five months I've waited for this to come. I am blessed! We are so blessed to be given a second baby! I hope I will have an easy pregnancy just like with my Jadyn before. All I had was heartburn every night. I would also hope the same this time, I want no vomiting at all for I know how difficult that is to endure. THANK YOU LORD, YOU ARE SO GOOD!

........ the instructions say if it has two lines it means POSITIVE!!

Website Hosting

Getting your own website hosting means greater chances of great opportunities online. It is easy for your website to be searched on giant search engines and most of all if you are a blogger, many advertisers would want to hire you to advertise your products since you got your own hosting.

Yes, it's true and it's proven many times. While most bloggers don't have their own hosting they are still convinced that getting one will be an excellent idea. If ever you or any of your friends thinking about getting their own web hosting, you may refer them this web hosting directory I am looking at right now. This way they can just decide themselves which company to hire for their hosting. Through web hosting rating they can determine which one has the dependability and greater service towards their clients based on star ratings, features, bonus features and hosting review in each site.

Her Favorite Fruit

Jadyn's favorite fruit is mango. All she could eat every meal is this healthy fruit that is bountiful here in the Philippines. Good thing mango is available everywhere and a lot cheaper compared than what we can buy in Texas. So what I do is I don't let our refrigerator runs out of mango otherwise Jadyn would go starving. You can tell how she loves eating it in the pictures below. Everytime I give her one, she gets happy and can finish eating the whole fruit except the flesh in the seed.

........... the wink she gave me for giving her mango.... what a joy seeing my baby loves eating this yellow fruit.

Stainless Steel Is Pretty

It would be very beautiful if all of our house stuff in the bathroom, kitchen and dining accessories are all made of stainless steel because it is shiny and never look dull. How I wish we can afford to buy those. Only in my dreams I think. It is okay though as long as we are living comfortably back in Texas.

We are still in the process of renovating the interior of our house and it's only the husband who works in the family so we are taking it slow. One of the many things need to be replaced is our cheap and old mailbox that the Vietnamese family was using for a long time. I guess it is now time to replace that cheap thing with a blomus stainless steel mailbox to make it look classy on the street. Right now it is such a shame to have that mailbox out there. Or if we can replace that box with not too flasy stainless steel mailbox will be very great. I may have to suggest using a stainless steel mailbox to my husband maybe he will agree to my idea. Also when our fireplace is ready to be used, I would like to have at least a few of blomus stainless steel fireplace accessories I have seen on the internet. They are just pretty and they are hard to resist. If you can see it, you will know what I am talking about. They truly are pretty and eye catching.

The Distractions

I am blessed with several opportunities today but my mind seems wandering somewhere. I really want to finish all these before I go out the house. One reason why I don't feel like doing the rest of my tasks is because there are too many distractions right here. There is this loud radio going on right now, the kids are all in this room keep making noises, there is also this noise coming from the outside arrggggssss. An absolute quiet and peace of mind is what I need at this moment. This is something I have back in Texas and I missed my own privacy especially in the morning.

But what am I complaining about? Isn't this what I wanted? Back in TX it is too quiet there that is deafening and here in my parents' house, there's too much noise that I am having a hard time concentrating on my tasks. I should just go on though or else the day will pass by me leaving the remaining tasks behind.

Dallas Homes For Sale

We live in the city of Fort Worth in Texas and I like it there. It isn't quite as big as Dallas but the traffic can get bad at times especially when there is a wreck or other vehicular accidents in major roads. Despite of that, I am not bothered. We live in an area where everything is accessible and that is what I love about being in Fort Worth. However, even if we live in the city I still feel our place is quiet and lonely. The neighborhood itself is very much different from where I grew up. I still get sad and lonely at times too.

If only I could ask all my friends to move to Dallas so we all can be closer together but I think that is very impossible. How I wish there is one friend of mine going to move in the DFW area and buy a house or look at Dallas Homes for Sale so that we can hang out as often as we want.

Ah I just now remember one Filipina who is moving to Dallas for good, I would want to know if she and her husband will be interested in Dallas Homes For Sale so they can have an idea on what type of house they want to buy when they finally arrive there. It can only be made easier for them if they choose to refer a Dallas Real Estate so then they can get help or assisted by an agent.

Medical Management Courses

When I took my oath to become a US Citizen, the USCIS office showed us a video of the President, Barack Obama saying "In America there is no dream that is impossible". That very line of his is hard to forget and it makes me ponder how lucky I am to have lived in America for almost five years and possibly for the rest of my life. That means, I can have all the opportunities that are open to my door be realized if I work hard to achieve them. Therefore, getting involved or working in a medical field someday wouldn't be impossible? I am so willing to do a search on what is the best field for me to work on someday, for now I have to look at different medical management courses online. But this website I am looking at right now is based in the UK. I am residing in the US but it shouldn't be a problem though for I believe there are still many online schools offer the same thing.

If you know anyone who would like to take these courses or shift courses on medical teaching course and
teach the teacher course and is living in the UK, you should refer him or her these links in this posting so he/she can take a look at it and enroll themselves. All information about their courses are clearly written on their site with corresponding price how much it would cost each course.

Haircut

I had my haircut just 3 days after I arrived in the Philippines. Prior to that my last haircut was almost two years ago. I haven't tried getting one in the US for it cost so much for just a haircut so I'd rather wait for my next trip to my own country before getting it for it is just so affordable here. Imagine to have a total pampering of yourself and only pay less than twenty dollars? Who wouldn't want that and who would want to waste her money paying a fortune for just one stupid cut? Not me!

Green Thumb Me

I love planting flowers and other ornamental plants. In Texas, I got two big and round planters in our front yard surrounding our two pecan trees. Aside from that, I also got potted roses and other flowering plants in our front porch that make our front yard beautiful to look at from the street. Not to be sound conceited, I received a few nice compliments from other people telling me they love what I did to our yard. So flattering eh!

This is what I promised to myself that once we moved to our own house and have a bigger yard to plant on trees and flowers, I would definitely please myself by growing colorful flowers in our yard. Since we already got two big planters in our front yard, I would love to have at least window boxes planters for our windows to make them look more attractive to people passing by our house.
After that, I want to put up three garden window boxes in the back porch as well. We love staying in our backyard as well so a few plants there would be a good idea. Good thing though window flower boxes and other gardening or planting accessories are available everywhere locally or on online stores.

Missing Her Dada

I feel pity for Jadyn because she misses her dada now. If she says "I wanna go home, I miss dada" just breaks my heart and there is nothing I can do about that. If only America was near, I would bring this baby back to her dada right away. Poor girl. We are gonna be here for two months and we are not even halfway of our vacation yet. I don't plan of going back to Texas early either, so I am confused.

Two months is too long but I am not ready to face the cold temperature yet. Besides, I am having so much fun here in Cebu and missing Texas isn't in my mind right now. Oh God, may this baby would hang on and wait until it's time for us to fly back home. I still have tons of things to do here, a lot of people need to see in person and a trip to Davao is yet to be done.

Bring Holiday Cheer

One of my weaknesses are purses. If I were in America around this time and sales are everywhere, I would have bought myself this mouth-watering Dooney & Bourke plaid double pocket shoulder bag in cream and tan color. D&B is my favorite brand ever. It is like a drug to me that is so hard to resist. Once you have it, you will want for more.

I know it is not just me who is crazy about purses. I guess all women do, right? If only we have all the money in the world, we would buy ourselves the prettiest purses we can ever afford but unfortunately, we only have limited resources. But, there are tons of websites or stores out there that offer great deals on purses and other handbag accessories just like the one I just found, Zappos.com is the website. It is the place where you can get discounted items for the holiday cheer.

An Encounter With The Chickens

Jadyn's first activity the soonest she arrived at her granny's place was to see the chickens they have in the chicken coop underneath the house. What a joy for a little kid like her to be able to touch and feel the chickens' feather and held it with her bare hands. I knew she was gonna love it there for there are plenty of things to see including the chickens that my cousin raised. That is of course aside from the fact there are tons of kids who were there also to see my American baby. I guess she was very much entertained there just as much as I was.

......... this was inside the big hollow coop at my grandma's...

Baby Diaper Rash

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Boudreaux's Butt Paste. All opinions are 100% mine.

I am a bit worried of my little girl being uncomfortable in her new environment. As soon as we landed in my own country, problems arose. Not major problems though. When my baby girl asked for milk, I gave her the one that is completely different brand or taste than what she used to drinking. She complained about that being stinky. I did try giving her Philippine brand juice since she rejected the milk that was given to her earlier, she also declined that.

Then time came she ran out of diaper that I brought from U.S, I bought Pampers brand made locally but then she developed a diaper rash in her thighs. Arggss what a never ending problems. Good thing though I brought with me a tube of Boudreaux's Butt Paste that helped relieve that burning feeling in her thighs. Poor girl. She has to experience all these just to be with her Filipino family. Things are going to get better in the long run, I know.

Anyway, I am so thankful that I traveled prepared of what is coming ahead like baby getting a diaper rash, who would have thought that she'd be allergic to diapers here? This butt paste by Boudreaux has helped a lot.  It treats diaper rash and soothes irritated skin before it goes bad.

If there is one diaper rash cream I recommend, it would be Boudreaux's butt paste for it heals faster , it has pleasant scent, cleans off easily and it comes in handy travel sizes. You mothers out there, you should try this cream and you may get your own free Boudreaux sample on their website.

Tired Body

Guess I am gonna have my second total body massage soon for I feel so tired and exhausted from yesterday's trip from Kawasan Falls. I feel weak all the time, muscles aching all over and I'm kind of irritable plus the fact that my girl is not eating good lately. I need that total body massage in order for me to feel better so then I will be ready to go for a long trip again visiting my grandmother, cousins and aunties in Davao in two weeks time.

Tomorrow we plan of going to South because my other grandmother (mama's) mother is waiting on me. I am excited, you bet. I bet it's going to be another long day for me and Jadyn! Sigh! It's okay though, I have planned this trip long before I could fly in the Philippines and tomorrow will be the realization of this dream. To visit her and experience the simple way of living I had when I was only a small kid.

White Uniform No More

U.S nurses are not wearing white nursing uniform. That is what I noticed since I first entered their hospital. I was like, where are the nurses here? It was hard to tell because they are all in nursing scrubs as well as the doctors also wearing scrubs. Unlike here in the Philippines, when you go to a clinic or at the hospital you can easily recognize a nurse for she is wearing a white uniform and a white cap. Very different from medical staff back in the U.S.

I thought nurses wearing their scrubs clothing look cute and attractive. Scrubs are tailored to fit their sizes plus the fabric are comfortable with nice colorful prints on it. If you are looking for one, try visiting the links here and choose which one you like best. There are tons of scrub suits to choose from.

Quite A Traveler

Tested through times. Proven for so many long trips either by plane or land trip, my Jadyn is quite a traveler. Wherever the destination is, she stays calm, patient and quiet. Truly you seldom see babies like her that would just behave and stay quiet the whole time you are traveling with no complain at all. I can't ask for a better baby than my Jadyn. The only thing that worries me while on travel is that she doesn't eat well.

........ first photo is on the bus taken yesterday (December 2, 2010 ) going to Kawasan Falls. We had such a long day, 6 hours bus ride in total and just spent 2 hours at the Falls...
....... this one right here is on the plane going to South Korea-- we had 14 plus hours travel at that time but my Jadyn stayed good the whole flight....
.... she got tired, she went to sleep curled up in a small airplane seat...

The perfect holiday centerpiece

Guest post written by Whitney Mallard

A couple of days before I hosted our big family Thanksgiving luncheon, I threw together this cute little Thanksgiving themed table centerpiece. I got so many compliments on it and really did love it so much that I thought that I'd make one for Christmas that looked really similar to it.
I got the idea from a blog that I found with my CLEARINTERNET to make the centerpiece in the first place with some twigs and pine cones that I picked up in my backyard. Then I spray painted those metallic gold.

I thought that I could use those elements of Thanksgiving centerpiece and incorporate them into the one I made for Christmas. So I took those parts out of the Thanksgiving one and with the help of a discount store and some things that I already had laying around, I created this really pretty Christmas centerpiece! I took a holiday serving try and put all of the stuff on it, including some candles in hurricane glasses and tree trimmings that I took when I went out and bought our tree from the lot.

A Great Help

I am one lucky mommy for having such a great girl who happens to like Mike so much. Mike is our close friend in Texas who came with us here in the Philippines for a month-long vacation. He likes Jadyn and Jadyn loves him too. Thanks to him for he is a great help to me for Jadyn. He makes sure Jadyn is well-taken care of when he is with us.
...... if there is one person that I can rely on during long trips or long walks, Mike would be that person for he carries Jadyn's heavy weight on his shoulders ha!

...these three photos above and below were taken in Kawasan Falls yesterday... you see how these two people are so comfortable with each other, I guess Jadyn looks at Mike as her second daddy.

Gas Logs

A fireplace makes a beautiful center piece of the house. I guess every house in America has it. Even our house that is 40 years old has one but we haven't tried using it at least once. We haven't gotten around to it but in the future I would like to make us of our fireplace during the cold Winter months. As for now, it is there waiting for someone to do something about it. I believe what I saw inside the fireplace is what they call a gas log. I am certain about that for I looked for it on the internet and there I found many types Gas Logs on
R. H. Peterson Real Fyre gas logs official website. Two of the most popular types of gas logs are Ventless Gas Logs and Vented Gas Logs.

It would be amazing to be able to finally use our fireplace. Of course since I did my research, I believe I found a perfect place to buy a gas log if in case ours is broken or won't work anymore and other fireplace accessories. Hansen Wholesale is the place to buy them. I am yet to read all the questions and answers of Gas logs though located on the Gas Log FAQs section of the website mentioned here.

Hair And Nails Done

So nice of the lady who is now the owner of my favorite salon I have been going for years now for trimming my baby girl's hair for free. She also allowed us to borrow a nail color so that she can have her nails painted. My baby girl does everything what her momma does. Back home in Texas, we cannot go to the salon because it is a lot expensive there so while we can afford to have it here, better savor each moment spent at the salon. The service is better and the price is affordable.

Rich Jerk

Two of my friends were asking me if they could help me set up a blog because they want to know how to do it and eventually make money from blogging. I told them I will surely help them only if they show interest to what I am going to teach them. Admittedly, starting a blog is quite complicated especially to the person who is not a computer savvy or doesn't have a computer background at all. I myself was struggling during the first few months but later on, as I became more familiarized with the blog it turned to be fun and interesting to me.

I have been blogging for four years now and I feel I am very tired of it. If not because of the "green" I am getting from it, I would have quit a long time ago. I still got 3 new blogs that are struggling to get some traffic and exposure to the blogging world. Gladly though there are sites that help sites and blog owners gain traffic called the rich jerk. What they do is they search engine marketing advice and affiliate marketing advice via our membership area, where we have dozens of step by step videos that teach users how to set up their first website or blog, how to get it ranked highly for competitive keywords, and how to monetize it through affiliate offers. We have 10 years of experience and thousands of members. There is also this other site called www.therichjerk.com owned by Kelly Felix who is known for being one of the top affiliate marketing courses of all time, with over 100,000 members. I shall see what they can do to help bloggers that are new and are looking for affiliation on the internet.

Up In The Clouds

By the time you folks will read this entry we will probably be up in the clouds or higher (30,000 feet) going for a very long and exhausting journey with Korean Airlines bound to South Korea. So I ask you all to help us pray for a smooth and safe trip for the three of us. I couldn't be more excited than seeing my Filipino family, relatives and friends again....

Mind you, I haven't slept all night... I was just lying awake in the bed all night long waiting for 5 o'clock to come and get up. For some reason, my spirit and mind refused to forget the world temporarily and give my tired body some rest at least for a few hours. I must be just excited, you bet?

Jadyn woke up early too with a happy face and full of anticipation to get on the plane and see her Uncle Adong and Auntie Alex...all in all she is doing good this morning and is already dressed up hugging her sacred pillow with her waiting on Dada to finish his shower so we can go  pick up Mike at his house then to the airport.

So see you all Oponians in Thursday!!!

For the Future

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of 2tor. All opinions are 100% mine.

I've been asked by my friends several times over if I have a job now or when am I going to find a job. I simply told them when my Jadyn goes to school because I don't want her to be left in a babysitter or at a daycare where I don't know anybody. I just can't trust other people to look after my baby. Who knows if she is going to be treated well while I am not looking at her?

While that being said, furthering my education is in my mind too only I don't have enough strength to do it right now. I probably am too focused on raising my kid or having a second baby that is why I am not bothered getting a degree or getting a job. Anyway, my husband is still able to support us, when he retires that is perhaps the right time for me to get my ass up and keep moving.

Blogging In The Morning

I am glad I am done with my online tasks that's been sitting on my dashboard since yesterday. I couldn't finish all of them in the morning because I had an early appointment. And at night time, I went back online again but for some reason I don't feel like doing the paid blogging when the sun is gone. It's just me, I am most productive during the early hours of the day.

Whenever I get online at dusk 'till late night, all I want to do is just chat with friends online or do the FB interaction. Blogging is out of my mind for it takes so much of my energy and I usually don't have enough energy  left after a full day of chulala. Since I am finished, I guess I can do my FB thing straight without thinking of blogging for the rest of the day.

Can't Go To School

I feel pity for my child for she was coughing so hard at dawn. She was attacked by hard cough that made her uneasy and couldn't get back to sleep for an hour. Her dada was bothered too and so do I. We were all awake due to the fact that our baby isn't well. She seldom gets cough and it panicked me whenever she has it.

Since she is not feeling very well, we decided not to send her to school today. I am sure she will miss playing at the gym but I don't want her to strain herself you know? Jadyn has got two Saturdays left in school and after that she'll be off to fly in an airplane to see her uncles/auntie and grandparents. I can tell she is as excited as me for keeps saying about playing with her Auntie Alex and Uncle Adong. Hehehe ka kyot bataa!

Enroll At Walden University

Education is the only greatest gift a person can ever acquired, possess and it is something that will be forever yours that holds the key to the success of your future. Once you have it, it can never be taken away by someone from you. The knowledge you learned will be shared but cannot be totally be given to other people, not even to your spouse or children but you can impart some to them, agree? Colds

For some reason my baby girl caught some colds three days ago. It left me wondering as how she got it because I don't remember taking her out in a cold or in very bad weather. It can't be an allergy either for she has always been staying inside the house. If ever we take her out that would only be in her school or at the grocery store for at least an hour and a half.

Poor girl, she slept with clogged and stuffy nose  at night and during the day she sneezes a lot. I hate seeing her not well. If I could get her illness and freed my baby from the colds, I would have done that. It's the third day she got colds and I hope that she would be totally healed at the end of the day. She can't be sick. She has a long trip to do in the next couple of days.

Buying A Web Hosting

Despite of the fact that one of my mentors in AMA before doesn't recognize me anymore, he is trying to sell or promote his service to me, providing the best web hosting, that is. When I looked at the website, it doesn't look familiar to me nor do I hear it before so I just told him some lame excuses why I can't buy a web hosting from him right now.

I just don't like the idea of buying it from someone whose memory is declining so fast. I would rather purchase a web hosting in other companies who can provide me good hosting reviews and reliable service rather than from someone I know by name but the product itself cannot be trusted. Aside from that, he was also trying to convince me to at least also try his or their web hosting hub. No matter how he tried hard selling the service to me, I cannot just do what he wants from me.

I was just being upset by the way he asked me when I sent him a private message on Facebook asking who am I? The heck with this man. He is only a couple years older than me yet he doesn't remember I was one of his students in BUSDEV and other subject before. Well, I feel that I made it even with him by simply refusing what he was dealing with me. I'd stick to my current provider as I have been on it for three years and so far I got no problem with the service at all.

You Should Be Afraid

If you are one of those people in the world that likes to download songs illegally, think again! Once you get caught, you have no one to be blame but yourself. You have no idea what the punishment will be or how much the fine would be until it happens to you. Read this article about a Minnesota Mom Hit With $1.5 Million Fine for Downloading 24 Songs.

The Minnesota mother of four is being penalized for illegally downloading and sharing 24 songs on the peer-to-peer file-sharing network Kazaa in 2006, but how much she owes the record labels has been in question.

Family Guy

Guestpost written by Ramiro Mueller

Whenever I sit down on my potato chip flecked couch and rub my greasy belly, the dopamine sensors in my brain react accordingly as it is conditioned by the smells and sound permeating through the house that I am about to watch Free on Demand. The show that I usually watch is Family Guy, as it is the one show that gets me. As a high school dropout who constantly has trouble pronouncing the word "comfortable," I am mostly that whenever I see the likes of Peter Griffin, kindred spirit, as he rails on that pretentious know it all dog. The show is really about celebrating the power of the middle class intellectual, as Peter's wisdom rings true and succinct.

Sometimes when I am watching the show on Free on Demand I feel as if I am becoming the character. I can feel my laugh turn into a high pitched giggle, the trademark one demonstrated by Peter on the show. I do not know if this happening consciously or if I am just going insane. I wish my brain would talk to me and tell me what it's thinking but really I worry I am too stupid to understand it. At least I am not like the dog Brian who just pretends to understand it, which is ironic because in real life it's the other way around. I watch Free on Demand on my cable TV DVR.

Rice For Sale

This is a common scenario you see at the market in the Philippines when you buy some rice, sugar or any types of commodities that are in a mass counting. You buy them per kilo. There are also some of it in packaging sold in department store but they cost quite a lot than in a public market. Majority of the people will go to the public market and buy rice depending on how much they can afford. Strange as it may look but it is how it's done there.

Unlike here in America everything is neatly packed displayed in every shelf of the aisle section of the store. Even at the Asian Market, their rice there already in a clean white rice sack sold for 20 USD per 25 pounds.

Online Entertainment

Just like any other source of entertainment, online casinos are popular way to do during idle times of a gambler's life. There are types of online casinos both Canada and USA players to choose from. Examples for this are e-check casinos, microgaming casinos, no deposit casino.

As with e-check, it is the electronic version of the regular paper check and it is especially suitable to the American and Canadian online gambler. This payment option is easy and fast and more and more online casinos and poker rooms are accepting it.
You can try it out here on www.bonusrating.com. On their site, there are 20 different casino sites listed from high rated ones down to the lowest rating a website received in the first page. The following websites from second to the last page, well it's up with you to discover what is good about them and why should you choose to go play in that particular site than the best rated one on top of the list.

The e-check is really just like a paper check, it even looks like it. First of all a regular checking account is needed. This is pretty common in the US where this service is readily available. Through an online form you fill out your banking account details and then you send it off electronically to the casino which will have it within seconds. The technology used for this process is the ACH technology that banks worldwide use to transfer money. The player just fills in the check and the rest happens automatically and instantly. When a withdrawal is made it will be sent through the same system straight into the player's bank account.

There are more information in which you should read before deciding to play with e-check type online casino. It's advantages and the final conclusion should give you a peace of mind while gambling.

Live Eel

This is a picture of a bucket of live eel I snagged on Facebook. Eel is known to be an aphrodisiac, they say. It is one of my favorite sea creatures that would taste so good when you cook it in "adobo" style. I so look forward for the day I get to my home country. One of my friends promised me that she'd cook me her own recipe for eel. That makes me so excited visiting her in their house so then we can  eat bakasi or eel paired with "bahaw" and "suka" or vinegar in english!

It looks gross in the picture, ain't it? But I tell you its taste makes you wanna go oh oh oh ah ah ahh..You got to taste it to believe it!

I Hate Math

During my school days from elementary until college, Math wasn't my thing. I have always been slow on this subject. Although I don't like Math but I never had failing grades with it. I would say I got a little above average with Math each grading period.

For some reason I just don't find Algebra 2 fun to do. It always brought me chills all over my body when our Math teacher entered the room. Much more Adding fractions was I hated most. It made my brain twisted the whole session throughout the year. Graphing linear equations however, wasn't as bad as the latter. I could pretty much compare it to connect the dots game although there would number solving first before you can connect the graph. Oh well, I am just glad I am done with school now. If ever I go back to school, I would take a course that wouldn't do so much of problem/number solving because I know how I hate it.

Philippine Market

I so missed this kind of fish. It's been a long time I have not eaten real fresh fish with head still on. The one that we buy here in America has been frozen for so long that it lost its sweet tasty juice.

This is how fish is sold in the market in the Philippines. They lay it all in an open counter so costumers can just pick the piece they want to buy. You can tell that the fish is still fresh because it would stand straight when you hold the fish upward, the scales are dark red with no foul smell in it. All these can only be seen ONLY IN THE PHILIPPINES!

Durable Cleaner For Our Grill

I am looking for a stainless steel cleaner use for cleaning our grill. I want something that is durable because the grill itself has some tough harden food and dried sauces in there. Using just ordinary sponge doesn't work or it wouldn't last long. Let me go ahead and search for that very stainless steel cleaner so I can purchase it. I really want to give it to my husband as soon as possible as there are already thick build-ups of food in his grill right now and he keep using it to cook our food. Although he cleans it before he uses, yet he doesn't remove all the old foods that cling in the grill.

Virgin A Big Problem?

I just grabbed this from my friend's album on FB. I thought this was weird. Why? Because why is it such a big problem in America if you are still a virgin? In the Philippines where I came from, being a virgin means you are chaste. Being virgin is a good thing. Keeping yourself intact for your future husband is like keeping a diamond in your pocket.

I am a woman who believes the most precious gift you can ever give to your spouse is your virginity and I solemnly swear I did it and it felt great! For that loser who left a nasty comment about having a one night stand with me in Cebu before, he was making fun of himself because the only person I had sex with in the Philippines was my husband.

I don't even remember leaving our house at night just to screw up some sex-hungry Westerners. I was always the traditional woman who believes sex is sacred and I just can't give it out to somebody I don't even know.

Vomiting And Diarrhea

I woke up in the middle of the night last night because I heard my husband was in the other bathroom throwing up a lot. It happened twice and I was wondering if he got sick due to the old corn he ate just before he went to bed? I asked him this morning what's going on with him, he told me that yeah, he is indeed sick but not because of the corn but probably because of the old pork meat that's been sitting in the refrigerator for so long.

He called in sick at work. I know he feels bad about it because he is not the type that would just call in sick. He feels weak he said so he did what he needed to do. If it was just a minor sickness, then it would be okay to go ahead and go to work. I feel sorry for him. Now he's in bed. I brought him rice porridge there and a capsule for his diarrhea, I hope he would eat it and take the medicine for I know he has nothing in his stomach right now.

Advertising Agency

No matter what sort of business you are going to venture in the future, you will need a proper advertising media for it so it will be known to the targeted consumers that your products or services exist. One of my friends I talked to online is planning of putting up her own small business on the internet. She loves fashion and cosmetics. I thought it was a good idea and I encouraged her to pursue her plan because not only it will keep her busy but also she learns to be independent and responsible with this.

An Advertising Agency cab greatly help once she is done building her online shop. As a friend, all I can do is help her find a reliable advertising agency that won't rip her off as well as exposing her merchandise all over the internet. I know a couple of women who love to look good, they love trendy and fashionable dresses I shall say.

I am really hoping that this friend of mine will do good and become successful in her plans because she got two kids to support and other nieces and nephews she is sending to school as well. She is a single mom by the way that is why I am sending her my all out support just to let her know that I am here willing to help her all the way.

Before I forget, this advertising agency that I am going to recommend to her has been helping thousands of clients from the past increase their site exposure and high sale profits. What they do is that they create a mixed media marketing experience by combining old and new media. THAT! Advertising Agency has built a team of highly skilled advertising specialists that focus on numerous industries (Advertising Services by Industry).

Looks Like Jadyn??

I have watched this beautiful video of a little girl named Amy Castle several times before, singing her original song way back 1994. The reason I am bringing this up it's because Darlene as I call her "Mamu" shared this to me on FB wall saying that the girl looked like my Jadyn. So I went to play the video again and I must agree, she is indeed has some features in her face that are somewhat the same of Jadyn's. If you have seen my baby girl's recent photos, can you compare them with this girl in the video. Do you agree with what my friend was saying?

Workout At Home

From the title of this entry I guess you have an idea that this is going to be about workout in the convenience of our own home. My husband and I are pro-workout people. Long before we met each other, my husband has been working out at the gym. It was him who influenced me to be fit. In fact, we have had gym membership for a year where we used to live.

And now that we own our own house and we got plenty of space to put our workout equipment very much the same of those that you see at Insanity Workout, we now do our workout at home. We got four different workout equipment in the back porch. Ah the convenience of having those equipment, not only it saves us money but there are other benefits we got from doing it at home. By doing so, we have ample privacy, we have the ability to play our own music, workout whenever we like, no gym membership fees.

Slowly we will be able to complete our exercise machines that would include the Turbo Fire in the long run. Another product that we would like to try is this P90X Workout or also referred to as PX90 by Tony Horton. It is a 3 month workout that features resistance training, yoga, kenpo, stretching and lots of cardio.

Fortunately I married a man who loves keeping fit otherwise I will be like a sagging-breasted cow just like everybody else here. No offense though but most white women I have seen around here after having their first child seems like they also lost their shape. They became fat, arms sagging, belly bulging and so and so forth. I don't want to offend anyone but I am a straightforward kind of person, I say what is in my mind, if it's right then I am not afraid to be confronted by it.

Typical Weekend

Ever wonder how we most spend our last day of our weekend here? Here's how it looks like, it's either we are out for grocery shopping, sending off Jadyn to the little gym, doing some house chores and most of all, the husband do his yard of course with his girl riding in a zero-turn mower of ours.

Whenever the daddy mows his yard and Jadyn hears the sound of the mower's engine running, rest assured that she'd like to go out too and ride with her daddy. It's just a simple gesture of my family that makes me happy deep inside for it creates solid bonding for both of them.

Majorca villas

So as I was saying in my other blog post, I received our electronic tickets yesterday as well as the itinerary. This would only mean one thing, we are so ready to fly now just waiting for that very day we most anticipated to come. Yahoooo I am so anxious to have a vacation in my hometown. I miss the people, the place, the beach, the food, the family, friends and relatives. I miss everything about my country so to speak. And for that I can no longer sleep well at night thinking that we are getting closer to be on the plane and see my beloved country.

Baby and I are going to have a two-month vacation. This of course includes short trips to my grandmothers' province. Another thing that excites me the most is the beach. Speaking of it, it makes my mind wonder soaking my delicate self in the seawater for long periods of time. And after an all-day adventure in the water stay at one of the villas there. Too bad though that Majorca villas aren't built there. They are only located in the UK area. Another option to stay in are the villas in Ibiza .

While it's good in the UK, tourists could just check out the villas themselves and see if they will love it there. Or they can try looking it up on the website first, find out the villas' offers, check out number of bedroom's availability. With over 1623 properties in total, guests, local tourists and visitors should have plenty of choices. Farmhouse, cottage, apartment, and villas accommodation in Mallorca for your holiday home rental the Balearic Islands.

Now back to my vacation, I am counting the days until the day we leave America and say hello to my native homeland. Can you tell I am that excited? I guess you can relate to me with how I feel if you have lived away from your family for years, right?

Christina Aguilera Splits From Husband

Amazing how celebrities can have a sudden change of heart. Why is that? They divorce or change their spouses just like changing clothes. I cannot stomach their liberated views towards marriage or relationships. One for example the latest couple that splits are Christina Aguilera and her husband Jordan Bratman. As quoted “They were very much in love,” explains the insider. “But over the last six months, it became clear they were more like friends than husband and wife.”

Though the pop star, 29, told UsMagazine.com less than a year ago that she felt “very blessed” in her union with music executive Jordan Bratman, 33, a source close to Aguilera tells Us the couple “have been separated for a few months.”

Hit By Recession

No matter what website I go to, all I could read is how people suffered from the recession. Some have been hit for 2 years now and others just recently affected by our economy's downturn. What a sad thing to know knowing that they too, have families to feed, bills to pay and other liabilities. In these times of crisis, investing in something is important. Furthermore, it isn't so bad buy to buy silver bullion and invest or just to keep it safe for the future? But the question is how can one buy the said bullion if they don't have the resources?

And as for the rest who can pretty well afford to buy silver or gold bullion, I know a place just perfect for you to buy them. You may click directly on the link above or visit www.usgoldbureau.com.

Our Family

Our family is simple. It consists of mommy (me), daddy, a little girl named Deden and a two-year old dog half Chihuahua named Chichai. We are simple but we are one small happy family. We make sure we find time to spend quality family time at the end of the day. During weekend, we manage to do something together just to remind each other that we are a family such as walking in the garden,  sending our baby girl to The Little Gym, grocery shopping together, doing yard work together and our usual night time routine is watch a movie together. Thank God for the family I have. They are awesome and I love them very much.

...and here's baby and daddy taking a quick pose together before starting our long walk at the woods.

My Brother Is Getting Married

Everybody in the family is excited for my brother and his fiancee's big day. As of this moment they are still waiting on the papers needed for the wedding. I am pretty sure they are getting there and they could be wed probably next week. My family have gone to the girl's place in Danao City for "pamanhikan", a Filipino tradition wherein both families face together and talk about the wedding. It is also when the guy ask the girl's hands and blessings from her parents to marry their daughter.

Pretty sure, they are so busy right now looking at possible wedding bands and or
diamond wedding bands. If I were them I would be very anxious choosing which pair should best look in our hands. I hope my brother considered looking at engagement rings and gave Jen one. But it's okay too if she doesn't have one since Filipinos don't normally give their fiancees an engagement ring.

Furthermore, I feel bad about not being able to witness my brother's wedding. My flight is on the 23rd of next month so it's impossible that I can be at his big day. Also, I might not see him when I get there. He just can't wait for his niece to arrive before he would go abroad again. Sigh!

Nice Proposal

My Father-Inlaw left us his family albums that he compiled while he was still alive that contain a couple generations back. In fact, most of the people in the pictures aren't known to my husband. When I asked them who they are, he has no idea for the pictures alone look very very ancient. We got like 4 or 5 albums of it and we would like for other members of his family including cousins and other relatives to see them too.

Since we cannot send them all of it, we plan of just buying an all-in-one printer, scanner and fax machine so we can get this job done. The printer especially, we need a new and decent one. What we have right now is old but it still working. Aside from printing, it doesn't do anything other than that.

We should have no problem with the toner though as I know already where to buy it, it is at Brother toner on the internet that offers low great prices and good quality products. When we purchase in bulk in order to save us time and money in the future.
