Filipino Drama Marathon

How happy I am to have discovered Netflix also carries foreign movies on DVD. It was someone I know on Facebook who spread the news about her discovery on Filipino movies on Netflix. Since we are members of this movie rental company, I tried searching for movie titles randomly and there it showed me several titles that I like.

Although I cannot watch Tagalog movies as often as I want to but knowing I can have it anytime makes me feel alright. Watching Filipino movies makes me feel like I am not far from home like the one captured here. It is from the movie "Forevermore" by Kristine Hermosa and Jericho Rosales last 2002.

Online Sports Betting

When I am on the internet, I love opening several webpages at the same time. I do this so I could just switch websites I would like to look at when I am done with the other one to save me some time. Then one of the pages I chanced to open is a sports betting site where people can just go and bet on their favorite sports team currently playing or on the list of the site. I thought this was cool for they don't have to leave in their house just to bet for their favorite team or player. The magic internet has brought to us!

Aside from that sports betting site I found, there are some articles worth reading as well especially the latest entry titled Two For The Money movie review. It's a 1995 Sports Gambling Thriller/Drama. Starring Al Pacino, Rene Russo and Mathew McConaughey

Netflix To Increase Its Price

Oh oh, so it is true as what the husband said last night that Netflix is going to increase their price. Millions of subscribers are not happy to hear about it including us. This would only mean we have to give up our other subscriptions in HULU so it wouldn't be too heavy in our pocket. If we pay two different subscriptions in two different companies at the same time it will be too much for us so it's either to stop HULU or Netflix... but I love Netflix more than HULU so I guess we have to choose the latter.

Read the article below or click on the link to read the news about it.

On Tuesday, the company said it was splitting up its two services, which means that subscribers who want both streaming video and DVD-by-mail access will have to get separate plans that cost at least $16 per month total.

Netflix had been offering both services as a single package that was available for as little as $10 per month. The price changes took effect immediately for new subscribers, and will begin Sept. 1 for current Netflix customers. To read more just click on the link below.

Rio - The Movie

We are a family who love to watch movies in the comfort of our own home. We don't need to go to the theater to watch movies we like instead we just wait for it to be out on Blu-ray disc and enjoy with the rest of the family for less of what we pay for at the movie theater. A new movie we anticipate to be on dvd is RIO- the movie- From the creators of Ice Age, for sure it is going to be a hit! We love watching animated movies for it bring out the child in us. We have a little girl who is an avid fan of animated movies so we really look forward to watching this movie and possibly own one in Blu-ray disc. It is going to take a while before we can watch it, but I know it is worth the wait so we are patient about it.

Here is the synopsis of the movie:

"Rio" is a 3-D animation feature from the makers of the "Ice Age" films. Set in the magnificent city of Rio de Janeiro and the lush rainforest of Brazil, the comedy-adventure centers on Blu, a rare macaw who thinks he is the last of his kind. When Blu discovers there's another — and that she's a she — he leaves the comforts of his cage in small town Minnesota and heads to Rio. But it's far from love at first sight between the domesticated and flight-challenged Blu and the fiercely independent, high-flying female, Jewel. Unexpectedly thrown together, they embark on an adventure of a lifetime, where they learn about friendship, love, courage, and being open to life's many wonders. "Rio" brings together a menagerie of vivid characters, a heart-warming story, colorful backdrops, energizing Latin and contemporary music, and family-friendly song and dance.

Blu-ray Movies

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of iNetVideo. All opinions are 100% mine.

With our current movie subscription we are able to watch new releases blu-ray movies. We have unlimited movies each month depending on how fast we can return the DVDs back to their office. With that being said, we are left with no movies for certain nights because it usually takes us two nights to finish one movie. So the result is, we don't receive a new movie in the mailbox unless we mailed the old ones back to them.

Nights are so boring with no movies to watch, I tell you. It became our nightly routine before ending the night. We all sit in our living room and be entertained of the movie of our preference. But as I said, we are left with nothing to watch sometimes. Good thing that I found this website that sells Blu-ray DVDs. The site is called iNetVideo.com where I can just buy several movies in Blu-ray to get good deals on shipping and other promos they offer.

NetVideo.com, founded in 1999, offers a wide range of movies on DVD, HD DVD, Blu-ray, video games and music CDs for less! If you become a guest blogger in this company, you have the chance of getting free movies from them. Check them out now and find out how you can join the monthly Blu-ray player giveaway!

Le CO2eux Soireé

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of goviral. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you missed last year's Recyclage de Luxe Show, here is your chance to watch a follow-up of it. Watch the embedded video below. Le CO2eux Soireé is what this video is about. It is actually a four part variety show that was created to launch Stella Artois’ new lightweight bottle, which contains less glass and therefore produces less CO2 emissions.

This show was also inspired by 1960s television programmes and is aired ‘live’ from inside the new bottle. To those who are fans of 1963 shows, this is your opportunity to bring back the old time for the show is featuring the first ever music video by Marina and the Diamonds’ hit single I Am Not a Robot – alongside a live set from The Mystery Jets, performing their yet to be released single Dreaming of Another World.

I am very sure that most of you Brits are familiar with this show. I am not but I am more than interested to watch it for I admire oldie shows too. Wait until I have some free time and I definitely going to watch it. I don't want to miss it as I seldom see shows like Le CO2eux Soireé nowadays. I know you will be happy to be able to see it too.

Watch Movies Online

Although we have a solid subscription for movies in Netflex we are not guaranteed that we can have something to watch every weekends. We normally get our movies three or four times a week but there are times when there is nothing good to rent online so we wound up not having anything during weekends. Good thing though we have other source of entertainment, the cable t.v. Aside from that, we can also get to Watch movies online at www.wamoli.com.

This is good because we can watch new releases movies like the Sex and the City 2 and so many others that would be interesting to be watching with my husband. Thanks to this website for offering a free movie to people who often get bored at home, just like me. I anticipate watching one of their featured movies tonight, we are going for a painstakingly five-hour drive again so a good movie at the end of the day will be a good idea. Wow, I am excited because I know what to watch this evening.

If you want free movies too people, just go to www.wamoli.com or click on the link above.

Another Addition To The Collection

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Alvin and the Chipmunks. All opinions are 100% mine.

We are a family whose nights usually end by watching good movies. I don't know why it felt weird if we skip watching a movie even just for one night. What we do is renting blu-ray movies from netflex but sometimes we don't have something to watch during weekends because my husband forgets getting online and choose a movie for us and that makes us all bored. Weird huh.

Speaking about movies, I am dying to own this movie called Alvin and the Chipmunks that is now available on blu-ray and DVD. We just love this movie and I am so excited watching it with my family. We don't normally buy DVDs but since this one comes in double DVD pack including "The Squeak Along" bonus discs then we shall go ahead and take advantage of the pack for the price of one. If there is a family friendly film that I would like to keep, I would love to have this one because it is going to be another great addition to the collection.

So if you also love it, let us buy it now. I tell you what, I have visited foxfamilyflicks.com and have tried their mayhem yourself page and my baby just couldn't stop it. Anyways, if you want to try the mayhem yourself too please do so. More Munk Mayhem there and I guarantee you, you will have a blast just like my baby.

Amish Grace Based On The Tragic Amish School House Shooting

My husband and I watched this movie the other night and I thought it was a great example of the difference between one that truly has LOVE in their heart and how murder develops. It is a story where true faith is tested during the darkest hours of one's life. It is a story where forgiveness is taken seriously for if they let their anger rule their heart then it is where the evil starts and if they learn to forgive there will be no more evil and peace will be achieved.

Such an inspiring movie to watch and I am glad I didn't miss it played at Lifetime Movie Network.

Well Done Jolie

I thought I don't like Angelina Jolie but after I have seen the movie "Changeling" I was impressed at how she did a great job acting as the mother of the lost son. She did it really really well I must say.

The movie Changeling is based on a true story started in 1928. The truth about the case of Christine Collins is so shocking and dramatic that embellishment must have seemed pointless, but in sticking so close to the historical record, Mr. Straczynski and Mr. Eastwood have produced a distended, awkward narrative whose strongest themes are lost in the murky pomp of period detail.

To view the overview and more about the movie you must visit the Original Source and I encourage all of you to watch the movie yourself for there are a lot of lessons to learn in this movie.

She Loves Disney

My family loves watching movies a lot. For me our night is not complete if we don't sit all three of us together and watch a movie. My baby herself is a big fan of Disney cartoons and other movies that she feels entertaining like the condorman, Ducktales the Movie and most especially this enticing A Mom for Christmas movie. The last one is my favorite of all for it entails to moms and I am one one of them too. All these movies are classic Disney movies and shorts are available only through Disney Exclusives. If you are a Disney Movie Club Member then you should take advantage of the exclusive opportunities intended only for members.

Drag Me To Hell

Even before I've first seen DRAG ME TO HELL trailer on dvd, I knew it's gonna scared the hell out of me and never in my mind shall I watch this movie because it's too much for me to handle. Then my husband got this one for last night. What was he thinking when I already told him that I'm not gonna watch this movie.

But we watched it anyway. It was really scary for me for I have sensitivity to satanic or ghosts spirits in movies. That bothers me down to the bone that it creates a nightmare when I go to sleep. It was a fun, bone-chilling, nerve wracking movie though and we finished watching the entire movie until 1 o'clock.

Read the Synopsis here lifted from its original source from Google.

In Pasadena, California in 1969, a young Mexican couple rushes to the home of medium Shaun San Dena (Flor de Maria Chahua). Their son had stolen jewelry from a group of Gypsies three days prior, and since then, has been complaining of seeing and hearing things not of this earth. San Dena tries to help the boy in a seance, but she and the boy's parents can only watch in horror as the boy is thrown from the balcony by an unseen force before being pulled into Hell by demonic hands.

Forty years later, Christine Brown (Alison Lohman), a loan officer at a local bank, hopes to be promoted to assistant manager over her conniving co-worker, Stu Rubin (Reggie Lee (actor)|Reggie Lee). Christine's boss, Mr. Jacks (David Paymer), advises her that she needs to demonstrate that she can make tough decisions when she needs to. That day, Mrs. Ganush (Lorna Raver), an elderly gypsy woman, asks for a third extension on her mortgage because she is struggling with economic problems due to an illness. To prove herself to Mr. Jacks, Christine, against her better judgment, denies Mrs. Ganush the extension. In desperation, Mrs. Ganush prostrates herself before Christine, begging and kissing the hem of her skirt. Christine panics and shoves the woman away, shaming her in public. As security guards escort Mrs. Ganush out, Mr. Jacks compliments Christine on how she handled the situation and implies that if she can close another big loan, the assistant manager position will be hers.

Watch Over 1,000 TV Channels on Your Computer

My kind of relaxation after a long exhausting day of work at our house is to sit on my computer and do some internet stuff. One of which is watching my favorite filipino soap opera but then that show went crazy so I stopped watching it. Now I am looking for something interesting to watch, a good movie maybe?

When I did my surfing as usual, I stumble upon livetv4me.com which I can get over 1,000 channels in just one time payment only. I think this is really cool because aside from the movies I can get to watch, I don't need to pay by monthly as I said, one time payment only then I can do an easy download of the software to my computer within 3 minutes.

As easy as that, I can watch movies all day long when I am not working. Oh another plus to this program is I can watch programming all over the world through this. I can't wait to download the software myself so I can get started right away and be entertained at night time. Do you want it too guys? Please visit their website right away and purchase the software so you can watch tons of movies too.

The Family That Watches Movie Together Stays Together

During working days me and my husband and the baby can only get to spend time together during night time by watching a movie all three of us together. When he arrives home from work at 8 pm we cannot be close to each other because each one of us has each other's business to do on the internet. Me dropping ECs and chatting while he is keeping up to date of what is happening out there by reading news all over the world online. By ten or eleven in the evening we then watch a movie that he brings home every night.

His favorite renting station is the local BLOCKBUSTER rental store located just 3 blocks away. Tons of movies to choose from including blu-ray DVD as well as latest releases. The problem of local rental is that my man is working and he is the only one that drives in this family. Sometimes he forget to return the DVD the following day so we are being charged extra. I don't drive so the DVD will be left in our house until my husband remembers to return it. NO return, no rental of new movies. Thanks to BLOCKBUSTER online they have us covered. I can just rent a new movie and return it all together after the new rented movie is finished.

Taken Movie Review

For two nights we watched this movie called Taken an action/adventure genre. For me it was one of the best movies we ever watched. I have seen a lot of movies but only very few caught my attention and leave me thinking about it for one full night even in bed. If I were to rate this movie, I would give 4 and a half stars out of 5 because it's just superb, taking my breath away from the beginning 'till the end. And guess what? I was kind of upset for it ended too soon. I was asking for more of this movie but what can I do? You might wanna try watching it too and see it for yourself whether you like it or not. Asking For More of Ironman

My husband and I are just finished watching the movie titled Ironman. For the whole 2 hours the movie was playing, I was holding my breath because it is just too good. It can only be mean one thing when I do that... that means I like the movie a lot. I have seen several very good movies and Ironman is one of them.

I know what a good movie is and Ironman is simply the best. It gives me thrill, heart-pounding moment each time he makes his move to defeat the enemy out of his own sharp mind through his invention. I told my husband that I want more of Ironman. I was disappointed when it ended. You have to watch this movie people and you will not regret spending your time watching it.
