My Girls Wore The Same Princess Dress On Their 1st Birthday

I am really glad that God gave me two Princesses instead of one boy and one girl or the second girl could have not used my first born's outgrown clothes. It truly saves us quite a bit of money for keeping the same old baby stuff until baby Megan came.

One of the many things I didn't buy is this pink Disney Princess dress that I bought four years ago for Jadyn's first birthday. I actually left it in the Philippines in 2009 but then brought it back here in the U.S the following year we were able to visit my homeland. Photos below are snaps of the two Princess on their first birthday wearing the same pink dress. Cool, isn't it? Too bad though I didn't capture Jadyn's full body just like I did of Megan.

Kids Clothing Are So Cute

It happened to me several times when I go out for shopping for myself I end up buying clothes for my two girls. Same thing if I do it online. At first I would browse for dresses or handbags but then for some reason I couldn't check out with adult stuff instead beautiful and cute outfits for my two girls, why is that? I think it is not just me that is so enticed shopping for designer kids clothing in stores or online but most moms too. I have talked to several friends I know who are also moms, they said the same thing.

Children's clothing are just so cute that they are hard to resist. Whenever I see one online especially if it is on sale, I am tempted to buy it to make my girls look pretty in their outfit and also for them to have many dresses as they can for I never have it when I was growing up.

Dressing Comfortably In Summer

So this is it! It is now officially summer. You could feel the searing heat in the afternoon than the past days. Even early in the morning, you could feel the difference from Spring morning temperatures than of Summer's. I was out there  this morning spent an hour watering my flower beds and I tell you what, it was 84 degrees F at 8 in the morning. Yes, that's how hot it is here now.

However, there are small ways to beat the uncomfortable Summer heat. If you don't have a ground pool outside, buy an inflatable one at the store or stay indoor if you don't have business to do outside. Secondly, is dress comfortably and lightly. Being comfortable doesn't have to comprise your style. You can still be stylish and still comfortable by choosing the appropriate clothes. Bright colored sundresses, tank tops, short shorts, flowy skirts and flip flops, sandals/ wedges are commonly worn in Summer. Personally, layering is a no no for me, that can wait a little later when the temperatures cool down or in early Fall.

It's wintertime and in the weather forecast, there might be some snow today. Great! Looks like we are having a white Christmas this year which is another blessing to be thankful for. Haha funny how I view snow to be a blessing. I should because I love it and here in Texas we can only have snow once or twice a year. Cute Children's Clothing

When I go to the department store the very first section or department I go to is the children's clothing department. Why? Because I have two girls and I am always fascinated with cute pink stuff for my babies. Before I had a baby, I always thought of myself alone that changed when first baby girl came out. Shoe Obsession

Two of my worldly obsession are handbags and shoes. I don't know what's in these things why I am so obsessed with them. I guess it is not just me but all the women in the world love to collect or shop for purses and shoes. For those that have nice jobs, they have the money to buy 80 20 shoes or designer shoes. Others would even buy paris hilton shoes even if they cost a lot more than to buy cordani shoes. As long as they can have the pairs they desire, they don't mind spending big bucks on just a pair or two of celebrity inspired shoes.

I, as a stay-home woman and belongs to a one-income family, I do limit myself when it comes to buying stuff. My only source of income is through blogging so I would only buy for stuff that I can afford. I bought these dresses for my big Princess last time I hang out with my girl friend Annie and her daughter at Grapevine Mills Mall. We were there bringing our little Princesses so they can join the Disney Masquerade held at the said mall two weeks ago. Like Baby Like Doll

Baby and I have quite a fun time at the mall yesterday. It was a good day to be at the mall were SALES raging all over the store. I found a dress at Sears that worth 24 dollars marked down to 9.99. Of course I bought it since Jadyn and her doll can have the same dress which is so nice to look at. I believe, not only the mommy loved seeing how her girl matches dress with the doll so does Jadyn herself. They just loooooooook so cute in their dress eh!

Scrubsmag for Nurses

In my life, I have experienced wearing Scrubs when I took a short care giving course in the Philippines last year of 2005. For six months, I was lucky to be one of those people wearing scrubs while on duty. It was required for us students to wear proper uniform while attending the class as well as going for our on-the-job training in the elderly home, hotel and in the orphanage. I took the steps in taking this short course because I so wanted to get involved in medical field someday.
