Manny Pacquiao VS Manuel Marquez

Some of the great photos during the fight of Manny Pacquiao and Manuel Marquez last night, November 12,2011 that I like! You see the action is intense and the punches are jaw-dropping, eye popping scenes.

Back To Reality

As you may not know it, we just came back from our two-week stay from the Philippines for my father's funeral. We are now back to reality where nobody here that my Jadyn to play with. No one's around I can ask help with when I need something because there are just 4 of us in this house.

By the way, this picture is of my big Princess with her friends in Cebu. This was taken when we just arrived from our long trip from Texas to Cebu last October 20th. They are our neighbor's kids and I am glad Jadyn gets along with them even though two of these kids aren't speaking in English.

What Do You Think Happened?

For sure just at first glance of this picture you can ask yourself what happened here? You would think she fell off the bed or did she?

The story is that she chose to sleep on the carpet rather than in a warm comfortable and soft bed one afternoon. I kept calling her to sleep beside me but she didn't listen. She just continued watching t.v and I on the other hand, went to dreamland for minutes and when I woke up, the world was quiet. I looked for her but no answer until I got up and there I found my girl lying on the floor. Silly girl for choosing the floor over the bed to sleep on.

Messy Bedroom

This is how her bedroom is like right now. It's been so messy since we arrived from the Philippines a week ago. When entered the house, it was all neat and in order but then when Jadyn came, everything turned upside down. It is also messy in some parts of the house but I managed to clean it up. Heck, I am not in the mood to fix her mess in the bedroom. I guess it's gonna stay like that for the rest of the week. Why would I clean after it if minutes later she'd scatter her toys again, there's just no sense tidying up someone's bedroom while the owner is not helping me.

........above photo is my little palalat about to scatter her toys even more.. this is in our living room area and the place is already a mess...
.... her bedroom.. you can tell at least there were 7 tornado touchdowns happened from the past days here...

Haircut

I had my haircut just 3 days after I arrived in the Philippines. Prior to that my last haircut was almost two years ago. I haven't tried getting one in the US for it cost so much for just a haircut so I'd rather wait for my next trip to my own country before getting it for it is just so affordable here. Imagine to have a total pampering of yourself and only pay less than twenty dollars? Who wouldn't want that and who would want to waste her money paying a fortune for just one stupid cut? Not me!

Quite A Traveler

Tested through times. Proven for so many long trips either by plane or land trip, my Jadyn is quite a traveler. Wherever the destination is, she stays calm, patient and quiet. Truly you seldom see babies like her that would just behave and stay quiet the whole time you are traveling with no complain at all. I can't ask for a better baby than my Jadyn. The only thing that worries me while on travel is that she doesn't eat well.

........ first photo is on the bus taken yesterday (December 2, 2010 ) going to Kawasan Falls. We had such a long day, 6 hours bus ride in total and just spent 2 hours at the Falls...
....... this one right here is on the plane going to South Korea-- we had 14 plus hours travel at that time but my Jadyn stayed good the whole flight....
.... she got tired, she went to sleep curled up in a small airplane seat...

Silly!

I thought it was a thug driving this pick up truck with big wheels, for they are the only ones who do that but no, it was a white guy and an Air Force lolz. My husband finds it silly seeing trucks like this. Why would they spend so much on the tires just to show off how cool they are? An online friend says that it is popular where he lives and there are many of these trucks running in the state of Vermont.

This Is How She Is!

I wish our second baby is as easy as our first born. Our big girl is the easiest baby to take care of a mother can have. She would just sit there on the couch and not bothering me while I have things going on. If she wants to sleep, she would just sleep where she's at or on the floor.

This picture right here is of my Jadyn caught on the act, sleeping on the rug after hours of watching her shows on t.v. I didn't hear her crying instead this is what I saw when I went to look for her. How cute of her!

Arachnid -- Tarantula

Tarantulas comprise a group of hairy and often very large arachnids belonging mainly to the family Theraphosidae, of which approximately 900 species have been identified. Historically tarantulas were the bigger genera from the family Lycosidae (like Lycosa tarantula). The colonists of the Americas gave the name to the bigger spiders of the tropic-dwelling families Theraphosidae and Dipluridae (funnel-web tarantulas), and that usage has now supplanted the earlier European one.
Some genera of tarantula hunt prey primarily in trees; others hunt on or near the ground. All tarantulas can produce silk—while arboreal species will typically reside in a silken "tube tent", terrestrial species will line their burrows with silk to stabilize the burrow wall and facilitate climbing up and down.

This is the biggest spider I have ever seen in my life of existence here on Earth! It came out from the ground when Mexican people started digging in the backyard to put concrete on. It was my baby girl who saw it first and she called me telling that there's a spider in our back door.

It gave me creepy feeling because... just take a look at those big hair legs and belly. It would look very clear if I had a DSLR camera to capture this.

Life-Sized Doll

We dropped by Kid to Kid store in Bryant Irvin road after I had my biometrics taken hoping to buy Jadyn some winter coats but I guess it is too early for that because the store had no Winter outfits on display. I was a bit disappointed thinking that we drove there for nothing although the road was on the way home yet, it feels like we are wasting our gas going there.

Those were just my thinking for the first couple of minutes of being in the store but then when I roamed around looking at stuff (not even planning of buying anything apart from coats), I saw this used life-sized, blond hair, blue eyes doll with pretty dress and shoes on. Without hesitations, I grabbed it right away and brought it to where Jadyn was.

I like the doll when I first laid my eyes on it and for sure Jadyn will love it too which I am correct for as soon as she saw it, she took it from me and started playing with it. Thank goodness, we got a good deal in this one for it is sold for only 8.99.

.........man she likes Susie a lot...
...... I am giving my baby girl the toys I didn't have when I was growing up, one of which is a doll as pretty as the one in the picture.

A Beautiful Poem

Rainbow Paintbox
Helen H. Moore

I can see a rainbow,
see it in the sky, see it when the rain has gone away.
All the colors of the rainbow in the sky so high,
I can name them all for you today:

Red there is, a rosy red, a red so bright and bonny,
and orange as a tiger lily leaf, so bold and tawny,

yellow as the blazing sun, that gives us all our light,
and green as grass beneath our feet,
blue as the sky so bright.

There's indigo, as dark as night,
and violet like flowers.

These are the colors nature paints the sky
with after showers.

I will not forget this picture of the rainbow that I personally took in Denver, Colorado- International Airport. It was kind of bumpy before we could land in the runway because of the stormy weather in that place... as we sat and waited for our connecting flight to DFW, the storm had passed and the rainbow appeared.

Sad On My Birthday!

I am happy! It's my birthday today yoooooohoooooooooo! While I celebrate life, my father in-law is fighting for his life also that makes my natal day a sad one at the same time. He's been ill and he gets worse everyday. It's been four days he hasn't eating anything not even a drop of water. Hohohoho, I am worried, I am sad and I miss him already.

Before when we come down here to see him, the very first thing he would give me is his big hug saying "Hi, baby" and warm welcoming arms of his were expected. During the last three visits he couldn't afford to do that anymore as he is very weak and ill. So unfortunate that he could no longer watch his new grandchild grow. Oh, Lord if you plan of taking him soon, I pray that You welcome him in Heaven, forgive his sins and let his soul be in peace with You!

...photo above was taken yesterday, Father's Day. I am glad we made it here on time for Father's Day to visit and spend it with him.
