Seeing My Babies Grow

Nothing is more fulfilling in this world than becoming a mother. It is my dream when I was growing up and I still can't believe I now have two fast growing adorable girls. Seeing my babies grow is special. I witnessed their milestones from day one they were conceived in my womb until they were born and the first one started schooling. I asked the Lord for a healthy baby girl and so He gave it to me. I named her Jadyn meaning, "God has heard". I had a pretty smooth pregnancy, both me and my baby were healthy. I stayed home throughout my pregnancy and it felt magical to see her grow and watch every baby development she made.

All in all, my dream has come true when she was born and then four years later, we welcomed another gorgeous girl in the family named Megan. Right now I can honestly say I am happy, fulfilled as a woman, married and living the American dream. I feel blessed more than ever! I followed my two pregnancies closely and see the babies grow in my tummy through a virtual presentation of the fetus in pregnancy website above. I really like this site because it has a lot of information regarding children, pregnancy, preconception and a whole lot more.

My Girls Wore The Same Princess Dress On Their 1st Birthday

I am really glad that God gave me two Princesses instead of one boy and one girl or the second girl could have not used my first born's outgrown clothes. It truly saves us quite a bit of money for keeping the same old baby stuff until baby Megan came.

One of the many things I didn't buy is this pink Disney Princess dress that I bought four years ago for Jadyn's first birthday. I actually left it in the Philippines in 2009 but then brought it back here in the U.S the following year we were able to visit my homeland. Photos below are snaps of the two Princess on their first birthday wearing the same pink dress. Cool, isn't it? Too bad though I didn't capture Jadyn's full body just like I did of Megan.
..... sorry for the silly face of mommy, as you can see the photo above, baby Jadyn was in pink too...

Mommy And Girls' Day Out

I took my girls to the mall today so they can play at the mall's play area. I did it because I also got some coupons to use before they expire specifically the free Victoria's Secret panties and a $10 off a bra. Not only that, I also got really really bored these past few days and needed to get out of the house, see some people and to relieve the stress.

We only stayed at the mall for 4 hours though. We left early at 10:30 in the morning and went home at 2 PM. Geeezzz man it was so hot that all three of us were sweating when we got home. Even my 4 year-old girl complained about her being so hot and sweaty. Imagine to be out there at 104 degrees?

Big Sister Shared Her Chicken

We don't normally see these scenes in this house of my big Princess sharing her food to baby sister it's because she thinks baby sister's saliva is dirty. She doesn't know baby's saliva is cleaner than hers. Anything that touches the baby's hands or mouth will be wiped or refused by the big sister because of saliva in it.

ne late afternoon last weekend we grilled some meats including chicken drumsticks. As soon as the chickens were done, the big Princess asked for a leg. Since this doesn't normally happen, I made sure I captured it with my camera for keeps. I hope in the future Jadyn will change and sharing her stuff and food with her sister is more fun than keeping them all to herself.

Kids Clothing Are So Cute

It happened to me several times when I go out for shopping for myself I end up buying clothes for my two girls. Same thing if I do it online. At first I would browse for dresses or handbags but then for some reason I couldn't check out with adult stuff instead beautiful and cute outfits for my two girls, why is that? I think it is not just me that is so enticed shopping for designer kids clothing in stores or online but most moms too. I have talked to several friends I know who are also moms, they said the same thing.

Children's clothing are just so cute that they are hard to resist. Whenever I see one online especially if it is on sale, I am tempted to buy it to make my girls look pretty in their outfit and also for them to have many dresses as they can for I never have it when I was growing up.

The Guilty Look

I can't wait for my Megan to grow up so she can fight back with big sister. It pains me so much watching her cry because she is being pinched or hit by big sister. The big sister doesn't want the baby sister messing around her stuff especially the computer.

We were all in the living room when we realized baby Megan wasn't with us, she got quiet then the big sister ran to the study and there she found her baby sister tapping, slapping and playing with her laptop. That surely enraged her so she punched the baby in the back, ouch! That is not the first time she hurt the baby. Not only that, she stepped on both hands putting all her weight to the baby's hands because she was climbing up to where the computer was. That sucks! I wish Megan could fight back but she can't yet. Too young for that.

Every night before we go to sleep I talk to my daughter about being gentle with her baby sister, love her and just share her toys, she'd promise and will say never will she hurt 'B Megan again but then the next morning/day there she is again. Hmppppp...

I am hoping that all these because she is too young to comprehend the things going on and around her. Next year she'll be 5 years old and I am truly praying she will change the way she treat her sister. By then, baby Megan will be able to play with her and not be putting toys in her mouth that will perhaps make the big sister happy...

..photo above is of Megan looking guilty got caught by big sister screwing up her computer... she probably knew what is gonna happen next...
..... second photo above really loving the typepad...

.... oh oh somebody just got punched in the back...

Both Girls Are To Be Poked With Needles Today

Going to Dr. Halpenny's office - my girls' pediatrician has been my first born's favorite office to visit because they have a nice area there for kids to play. A colorful, neat and small indoor playground is what I am talking about. Jadyn gets so excited when I tell her we are going to the doctor's office but this time, it will be different.

I wonder how is she going to react when she knows that she'll be poked with needles this afternoon. It is both of my girls' wellness check up today you know. With that being said, I want to keep it a secret from Jadyn about the poking thing just so she won't be scared going there. It's been a while since she received needle injections in her body so I hope she will deal with it well today. Fingers crossing!
