She is Teasing Me

You might wonder what this girl is doing up there? I told her once, the higher she goes the ticklish it is in my sole and so she wanted to climb as high as she could. Such a teaser she is. If she fall down, it's her fault. I never want her doing that but then if teasing me is her happiness, then let it be... as long as she doesn't come to me crying because she got a booboo! Silly girl!

My Girls are My World

My girls... they are equally beautiful in my eyes. They are from my own flesh and blood, therefore, I love them with all my heart.

I try to dress them the same clothing as much as I can so they feel fair and equal. I hope they appreciate that and they know mommy and daddy love them both very much. Having these girls in my life make me the proudest although at times I feel overwhelmed of having to do the chores and at the same time look after them all by myself but I guess, I wouldn't trade my life for anything. I love it exactly as it is. My girls are my world and so does my husband. They are my family and for me, they so precious that without them, I don't know where I find myself.

So Serious Are The Girls

I took this photo of my girls last night watching a kiddie show on qubo. I thought they looked so serious in this shot.

I was just lucky they weren't bothered of me taking pictures of them. I love it when they are together in one place and not fighting or hitting each other, instead getting along well watching their favorite show.

If the girls are happy, mommy is happy too!

Seeing My Babies Grow

Nothing is more fulfilling in this world than becoming a mother. It is my dream when I was growing up and I still can't believe I now have two fast growing adorable girls. Seeing my babies grow is special. I witnessed their milestones from day one they were conceived in my womb until they were born and the first one started schooling. I asked the Lord for a healthy baby girl and so He gave it to me. I named her Jadyn meaning, "God has heard". I had a pretty smooth pregnancy, both me and my baby were healthy. I stayed home throughout my pregnancy and it felt magical to see her grow and watch every baby development she made.

All in all, my dream has come true when she was born and then four years later, we welcomed another gorgeous girl in the family named Megan. Right now I can honestly say I am happy, fulfilled as a woman, married and living the American dream. I feel blessed more than ever! I followed my two pregnancies closely and see the babies grow in my tummy through a virtual presentation of the fetus in pregnancy website above. I really like this site because it has a lot of information regarding children, pregnancy, preconception and a whole lot more.

Paloma Sanborn's Baby Dress

Such a great remembrance left by Paloma for her dad is an old baby dress that I intend to keep. This dress pictured below worn by our baby Sekong is at least maybe 14 years old, haha yes it is that antique now. I found it along with three other baby dresses in one of the bags stored in the garage at our old rental home 3 years ago. I was the one who did most of unpacking and I found these baby clothing of my husband's oldest daughter.

It is interesting to know that despite of the long decades have passed we still got these clothes and some toys that my husband didn't know he had for years. Two of my girls are playing those toys today. I told them that it's their oldest sister's toys and because they don't know the value of these toys, they just ignored what I said.

She Turned 13 months Old

My baby turned 13 months two days ago and she has been walking like a pro. She may stumble and fall but she'd stand right up and walk again. These photos were taken yesterday at the dentist's office and waited at the waiting area of an hour and half on her dada to be done. She had ample time to really exercise her legs and she got the entire waiting room for herself.

I just thought she looked so cute and working so hard walking back and forth several times. I got tired looking at her while doing her exercise, lol.

A Visit To Grandma Jean

I got busy with things around here and these photos we took last weekend supposed to be posted right after we arrived home from a 4-hour drive from San Antonio but anyway here they are now. These are fun photos of our family with grandma Jean. I think the happiest person on earth being visited by us was Jean.

Jean has two sons in California and based on her story, they have not visited her for a long time although they keep in touch by phone regularly but I guess it is different when you see your children personally, hug and talk to them physically once in a while, right?

She is not related to my kids by blood but they learn to love her as their grandma. She is my late father-in-law's girlfriend before he passed away. Their real grandma who lives in Florida haven't seen/met me and my kids since I arrived here over six years ago. Sad huh? Oh well, we can live without her.

...photo above is of us upon arrival from Fort Worth... this is our first dinner together...she served us pizzas in one of AFV's cafeteria
....... after dinner... looking at the old woman's face, you can tell how happy she is to see Jadyn again after six months of not seeing her...

Big Sister Shared Her Chicken

We don't normally see these scenes in this house of my big Princess sharing her food to baby sister it's because she thinks baby sister's saliva is dirty. She doesn't know baby's saliva is cleaner than hers. Anything that touches the baby's hands or mouth will be wiped or refused by the big sister because of saliva in it.

ne late afternoon last weekend we grilled some meats including chicken drumsticks. As soon as the chickens were done, the big Princess asked for a leg. Since this doesn't normally happen, I made sure I captured it with my camera for keeps. I hope in the future Jadyn will change and sharing her stuff and food with her sister is more fun than keeping them all to herself.

Disneyland Discounted Tickets For Southern California Residents

It is every child's dream to be able to hug and see in person her favorite Disney character. Growing up being so familiar with Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto and other Disney characters made me dream to come to America and perhaps visit the Disneyland. Now that I am here, I still haven't visited the said amazing place where I can shake hands with Minnie. She was my favorite of all characters. We live in Texas by the way and going to either Disneyland or Disneyworld can be a bit expensive for all of us. We are a family of four, two girls have been added to us so you can only imagine the plane tickets and the Disneyland tickets itself would cost us a lot of money.

With that being said, there are discounted disneyland tickets which we can buy on the internet and ships home, it is cold etickets which sells for 5% off any 10 tickets. However, if you live in Southern California, you can avail the discounted Disneyland tickets. Find out more on the link above. Grab those tickets before they are gone. I tell you, these are real deals for the whole family. Once you have the tickets, don't forget to book a hotel near the place in order to have a comfortable room to sleep in after a long day at the Disneyland.

In Control Of Her Shows

My eldest at four years old is showing some smartness in her. I know I may sound exaggerating because I am her mother but I can pretty much tell she is smart than other kids I know. She is the kind of girl if you tell her things, she would absorb it right away. If you try to teach her something, rest assured she will get it and learn things fast.

I am a busy mom of two so it is not at all times I can attend her needs like turning on her shows so I taught her once or twice from the past how to turn on t.v first of course then how to get to qubo, Netflix, TiVo and the PS3. At first she watched kiddie's shows on the regular channel on qubo and eventually she got tired of that she upgraded to TiVo since there are shows suitable for her that I recorded. Somehow she watched them all too soon so she then moved to Netflix.

I tell you, she could switch from Netflix, TiVo, t.v and PS3 without asking me or her daddy anymore. I was amazed how intellectual this little girl of ours is. In fact, she knows pretty well how to browse on Netflix now when it comes to looking for a kiddie show. At night time, when it is our turn to watch our movie and she is still sitting there watching her show, we would ask her to stop her show because we want our movie or we just get the PS3 controller and stop her show. If she sees how you just exit from Kids Netflix without stopping the program first, she'd correct you as if she is smarter than us! She truly is a high tech girl that we don't need to be telling her these things anymore.

The Usual Family Time

Here are a few shots of the usual family time. We don't go out so often, we are kind of a home-buddy family so more often than not, you will find us doing the internet together or have a marshmallow roasting party at our backyard. Sounds boring? Not for me, I do enjoy being with my family rather than being in a loud party consisting of different people with different personalities. How about you guys, what do you and your family love doing together?

...photo above is the usual set up in the backyard in the afternoon... in fact, my big girl and her dada already started the mallow roasting party and I am about to join them in a minute.

Congratulations Mary Angelie Seno Enrile For Passing The Licensure Exam

Congratulations to my first degree cousin Mary Angelie S. Enrile for passing the Nursing Board Examination that she took last December of 2011. She is the first nurse of the Seno clan. I am so proud of you cuz!

This girl has brains and beauty. I had so much faith in her that she is going to pass the examination to become a licensed nurse for she is a smart girl. Very smart, indeed. She is working at a call center in Davao City for now. I heard she was a dean's lister in college.

Baby #2 And Grandma Jean's 1st Meeting

The whole family visited Jean, my FIL's girlfriend in San Antonio last Monday until Wednesday of this week. We are glad we got to see her once again after 8 months. It was baby M and Jean's first meeting together, and guess what? It made her Christmas! She was just so happy to have us in her place. She is like a family to us and us to her. Imagine she hasn't seen nor visited by her own sons in 30 years!

When we bade goodbye to her after the third day, we got her teary-eyed. Poor old woman, she had nobody, not a single blood family visited her on Christmas...nobody but US!

...... photos above and below show of our arrival to her place on Dec.26,2011..

My Kids Are My Joy

Women or people who don't have kids won't understand how it is to feel having a kid or two around. In times of boredom, I have my kids to cheer me up or give me so much happiness although there are times that my first born is testing my patience but still I am having more time enjoying with her as well as the second baby especially that she offers nothing but her genuine smile when I need it.

My kids are my joy and they are the reason why I continue to live. Someday when they are old enough to understand that mommy's love and affection to them is beyond measure, they will appreciate it.

Dealing With Great Loss!!

I don't know even know where to start... all I know is I'm feeling deep pain right now. We lost our father, our dear Papa Elson. He suffered from high blood pressure and last October 15, he had his attack for the third time and he was gone!

I woke up one morning only to find these messages I don't ever want to hear in my life, CONDOLENCE, Te from my cousins and a message from my brother's wife telling me he passed away! So this is it! I have to face my greatest fear, a death of a loved one. I've never felt this close to my father and when I realized that we've created that bond a daughter and father share, he was taken from me, from us!

September 30 was the last time I talked to him on the phone. He was all happy and smiling as usual, calling him once a month would make his day BIG TIME! I say that because I felt his laughter were so pure and just very happy. I even asked a couple times "nganung lipay man kaayo ka Pa?" and he would say "alangan kay nanawag man ka, An-an na gud na!".

This sad circumstance is so unexpected especially to my father for he wasn't the person that would just sit his butt on the couch all day. He jogged every morning, exercise his arms, hands and legs and most of all he ate the right kind of foods, foods that won't trigger his disease. He'd chew vegetables raw or steam them, he divorced himself from eating greasy foods.. he was also taking supplements that helps the blood flow or whatsoever.

Papa, wherever you are now please know that you will be missed dearly. I may never told you how much I cared and loved you but I hope you knew it in your heart. I don't know what life is like without a father but for sure good memories we had will forever be in my heart......

SOBBING...SOBBING...SOBBING! May God open the heavens for your soul and rest in peace Papa!!!!!

I'm Glad I Did It

I am glad I took my Jadyn out to the mall yesterday for I put a smile in her little innocent face and a joy to her heart. It was my way of making up with her because I felt like I have not been giving her enough of my attention since the baby was born. When I told her mommy and Jadyn are going shopping, she got very excited with the news and told her daddy about it. Good thing I don't need to ask the husband to drive us for he already knew what he needs to do.

Cousins

Two Seno babies were born in this month. One from my brother in Iceland and one from yours truly. The baby girl is mine and was born just four days ago. The second photo is of McGrath, Wing2x's son. They are only two weeks apart. Hopefully, when they get to meet in person someday, they'll get along with each other. I can't wait for that time to come. I am glad to know that the Seno clan is expanding!

Like A Rainbow

This is what my girl loves to do when she's in the kitchen. When I go to the kitchen, she'd follow me there not to bother me but do her thing as well by rearranging her magnetic letters sticking in the refrigerator. I love how she arranged them this time for they look like a rainbow, so colorful and attractive.

I told her to take a quick pose with her letters and this is what she showed me, that fine smile of her and a pretty face makes it all perfect. Huh, love my own! You can't blame me, I am just one proud mommy to a great Filipina-American baby!

Happy Family

"Happy" -- the only right word I can describe my family. We live our lives with love and appreciative of the things we have. Even the big Princess, Jadyn feels it. She often say, I'm happy right here mommy, daddy! Thank God for the gift of family, they fill the void in my heart and they complete me. There is one coming that will add to our happiness, I am anxious for the very day.

We are truly happy- that's how we are and that is obvious. I cannot trade my family with anything in this world for without them I won't be whole again. We don't need those luxurious things in the world or have lots of money to be happy, just by being together that's what makes us happy.

One weekend, the happy family went to visit a beautiful garden perfect for the little kid run around and chase birds, for the mommy to breathe some air and for the daddy to have an exercise!
