Find the Baby

Amazing how babies prefer to cover themselves with blankets or a piece of cloth and that make them sleeping comfortably. If you take a first glance of this photo, you will be wondering where the rest of the baby's body is since it is only her hand that is showing.

She did it to herself when I woke up one morning. I found it cute so I took a snap of her being like this. I don't worry though since she is big enough now to cover her body like that since she is almost twenty months old.

My Future Olympian

There was this t.v commercial that was so popular during the Olympic games. It was being played several times a day and watched it every time it came on. This ad was about little kids doing weird, difficult stunts and actions in their own homes, it shows these small kids were breaking stuff and making a mess anywhere in  the house, the kitchen, bedrooms, living room etc. and mothers don't mind what they do for it leads them to become future professional sports enthusiasts. Such a great advertisement really. It was a bounty paper towel commercial to be exact.

Photos attached below show my little Megan how flexible she is at age 14 months. I thought she looked so cute and took a snap of her doing the action. In my mind, I say she could be my future Olympian haha... I wish!

Baby Loves To Eat Dirt

Babies are stubborn, you feed them with good food and they wouldn't like it. They'd spit it out and choose to eat dirt or dog food instead. That is what my Megan loves doing. Every time I feed her rice and soup she would only eat a bit of it. If I don't have my eyes on her, there she goes to the indoor plant by the front door and mess up with the soil, eat it and play with it.

Not only she eats dirt but also dog food. We hide our dog's dish to the back room but she could still go there! I don't know what to do with this baby. I wish she'd stop being silly and learn to love eating human food instead of those stuff.
........ it's her small hand just played with my soil... when I got her she had already eaten some soil.... gross!

Baby Blanket Is Baby Megan's Comfort

I just thought of my baby playing with a baby blanket whenever she is awake is such a joy to watch. Her cute little fingers stroking, playing and feeling the softness of her blanket. This specific blanket used to be her big sister's blanket. Amazing how she finds comfort with this blanket, she would feel comfortable sleeping with it wrap around her body even if it is mid summer. I wonder how is she going to behave when we go to travel this weekend and not bringing her precious and sacred blanket?

I must have chosen the right kind of blanket for my girls because they both like it. Although there are several kinds of blankets we can buy out there, it is important too to read tips when choosing appropriate for our kids' ages. I am thankful for the internet because I can pretty much search helpful information and tips that I can read and eventually share with my readers.

This Is My Life!

Undeniably motherhood is great and can be fun most of the time especially if you are paid back with the sweetest genuine smile from your baby. Ah just takes all the worries away. This is how we are everyday in our normal days. Wherever I go, the baby would surely follow me even if I am doing business in the bathroom. That is very okay though, it is flattering she wants me all the time, lol.

Photo captured by my eldest one day while I was cooking, I carried her at the same time stirring the soup and slicing the veggies. If I am not cooking, I'd do the dishes and rest assured she'll be down on the floor hugging my legs waiting for mommy to be done with her work.

Right now as I'm tapping on the computer trying to finish this entry, you can guess that she is on my lap sitting pretty so close to mommy!

Showered With Kisses

This is what happen to the baby when mommy misses her "used-to-be-newborn". I was imagining my baby to be only a few days old and showered her with kisses when it was too late to realize I drowned her with my kisses. Poor girl all she could is cry out loud!
As you can see there is a lot of emotion on these pics below. It is up to you how you put words on them.

The Squirrel Did Not Do This

Someone has been messing up with my indoor plants. I had to take two potted indoor plants out the front porch because my baby just won't leave them alone. I thought by doing that she'd be free from eating dirt from my pots but no, she still finds my pot behind the door. From time to she would go there, knock it down and snacking on the soil.

In Control Of Her Shows

My eldest at four years old is showing some smartness in her. I know I may sound exaggerating because I am her mother but I can pretty much tell she is smart than other kids I know. She is the kind of girl if you tell her things, she would absorb it right away. If you try to teach her something, rest assured she will get it and learn things fast.

I am a busy mom of two so it is not at all times I can attend her needs like turning on her shows so I taught her once or twice from the past how to turn on t.v first of course then how to get to qubo, Netflix, TiVo and the PS3. At first she watched kiddie's shows on the regular channel on qubo and eventually she got tired of that she upgraded to TiVo since there are shows suitable for her that I recorded. Somehow she watched them all too soon so she then moved to Netflix.

I tell you, she could switch from Netflix, TiVo, t.v and PS3 without asking me or her daddy anymore. I was amazed how intellectual this little girl of ours is. In fact, she knows pretty well how to browse on Netflix now when it comes to looking for a kiddie show. At night time, when it is our turn to watch our movie and she is still sitting there watching her show, we would ask her to stop her show because we want our movie or we just get the PS3 controller and stop her show. If she sees how you just exit from Kids Netflix without stopping the program first, she'd correct you as if she is smarter than us! She truly is a high tech girl that we don't need to be telling her these things anymore.

New Walker

Look who finally got a new walker? We got lucky for finding such a great deal on a walker for half a price  from what we normally buy in the store and it's brand new, my husband found it on Craigslist for only $15. My baby loves the walker but I guess she is still a little bit young for it. Her feet are barely touching the floor when she is in it and could only do a small move backward. The walker itself doesn't go any lower than what it is right now but I know baby M will grow fast so she should be okay in the next weeks to come.

It Was So Scary To Watch!

Myself and my two other friends had a scare this afternoon when we went out walking going to a pond one block from our house. All of our three babies were in the strollers except for my Jadyn who rode her bike going there. When we came to the end of our block, the road is elevated, the wind was blowing so strong and hard. She was going fast being blown away by the wind and to top of it all, she was going downhill.

It happened so quick, I was just a few feet away from her back when all of the sudden her bike ran very fast and she was carried away by the wind. One of my friends ran after her but she was just going so fast that she couldn't keep up with her. God was watching her at that time and I am pretty certain of that for if He didn't, something worst could happen to Jadyn. Fortunately, there wasn't a single car passing by at that time when that happened or if there was, God knows what could happen to my child. I was so scared that I just watched her going away and couldn't say a word. I was completely speechless!

Although she drove fast, panicking, screaming and scared...she was still able to hold on to her bike handle bars and kept it straight until she bumped into the curb that threw her onto the grassy yard. Thank You, Lord for keeping my child safe today. She got nothing except maybe a slight sprain in her right wrist. I hope it is not something major for I hate the idea of her going to the hospital or getting an x-ray.

We were so nervous afterwards. Wow it was just so quick, so scary and nerve-wracking experience for all of us. Somebody on Facebook advice me to let my child wear a helmet and padding everytime she gets in her bike. I should have thought about that a long time ago. Lord, I THANK YOU FOR KEEPING MY DAUGHTER PROTECTED TODAY! I am very happy You were at her side and her angel as well.

Acting Like A "Mommy"

I don't know what's inside of my 4-year old's mind when her baby sister cries or makes baby noise. She would stop her by saying "Baby Megan stop making noise, I'm watching t.v..I can't hear my show!" or shush her by saying "SHHHHHHHHHH SHHHHHH SHHHHHHH". When the dog barks near the t.v and she's there sitting on the chair, she would yell at the dog saying "doggy stop barking!, doggyyyyyy stooooppp barking!!!!" which is double the noise you hear when she does that.

Instead of making the noise to stop she'd added to it which for me is annoying at times. Other times, I laugh at her because she is acting like a "mommy", so matured in thinking and determined to really stop the noise around her! What a kid she is!

Living Doll

A living doll, that's how I describe my little girl. When I look at her, I see a cute doll with breathing. I find her to be so cute and oh I must love my own flesh and blood for I admire my own baby, lol.

I am just one lucky momma for having such an adorable little girl. Oh well, both of my girls are adorable I shall say. The photo on the right is of me and my baby one chilly afternoon. If you take a glance of her, you can almost say or as, is she real or a playing doll?

Rolled Over

Wow cheers to my baby girl for she finally rolled over at 5 months and 2 weeks old. She did it 2 nights ago while at her dada's study room last January 12,2012. Way to go baby girl!! Not long from now she'll be crawling and will be all over the place. I can't wait to see her being so active and should I anticipate for a big mess when she reaches the stage of being an explorer and curious little monkey?

Baby Doll Turns 5 Months Today!

Here is my ever lovable, smiling, giggly, happy and cute little Pearl. I took these photos yesterday looking so happy from the Christmas party!

By the way, she turns five months today at 10:44 in the morning. Wow time pass by us quickly, it seems like I cannot get enough of this cute baby girl of mine especially the babyish smell of her neck and mouth! I think it is the sweetest smell of all. Love you baby girl! Hope you will always stay as good as you are and healthy!

Cuddly Crying Bear

This is my 4 months old crying baby. Cute, isn't she even if she is crying. She is a good girl if you don't know it but she cries if she sits too long on the chair in her swing as if always needing mommy's body heat against her small tiny and delicate body, what a sweet baby she is!

In these photos, she looks like a bear, cuddly like a bear! Love you much baby Sikong!

Warm And Comfortable!

I am glad I found a way to keep my little Pearl from waking up too soon. Since we are getting into low 40's temperature sometimes, being warm and comfortable in bed is so important for her. What I do is bring her in our bed, cover her with the sheet and quilt plus a heavy pillow in her legs to keep her from moving too much.

She could sleep up to three hours this way that if big sister won't bother her or make noises. Ah it is so nice to be a baby and have a nice big warm bed to snuggle in.

Cam Whoring With My Baby

I love the idea I have a baby to kiss and smell her scent while she is still young. Unfortunately though my little Pearl is no longer a newborn yet she still have that babyish scent that I so love about her. Having a baby around just makes me appreciate life. Watching her grow, play with her and giggle with her is mommy's greatest joy!

I also love the fact that my baby just goes with the flow. Whatever what mommy loves to do, she is there always willing to give me that smile letting me know that it's alright, go ahead and do it like the cam whoring we did this morning before taking a bath. It was a bit cold yet she didn't insist nor cry...instead go with the flow!
