Haha funny how I view snow to be a blessing. I should because I love it and here in Texas we can only have snow once or twice a year. Snow is fun to play with too especially with small kids around. He Must Have Been Bored

What my husband have been doing for the whole two weeks I was gone to the Philippines that occupied him besides taking care of the baby was watching a movie at broad daylight! That is not something he normally does but with wife and first child being away, what else could he do? I was kind of laughing at him when I learned that.

When I arrived here a week ago, I saw there was a thick ugly cloth hanging in our window by the t.v room and I asked him what was that cloth doing there? He said that sometimes he needed to watch a movie during the day! I was like, what? He couldn't look for a decent thicker or darker cloth in the linen cabinet instead he just grabbed that old ugly cloth that we use to cover the unused chairs.

Him doing that, I am thinking of shopping for draperies, a dark-colored one to replace the one we hang in our window near the t.v because when we watch t.v, the glare of the sun gets through the window and reflects to the t.v which makes it very bright for us. No wonder the husband hanged this ugly cloth because that is the only way he can prevent the glare from getting through.

Looking at the things we have, what caught my attention the most are our rugs. The ones we are using right now are old, dusty, lots of stain in them and most old fiber is falling apart because they are of my father in-law's rugs. Also our big girl's bedroom need a coordinating shaggy rugs for her shaggy carpet. We can buy new rugs hopefully before this years ends, God hear our wishes.

We have been waiting forever for the Will to be executed, waiting for the husband to receive his part but then it is unclear as to when it is going to be over. Shoes For All

When I was growing up I didn't have nice shoes or many pairs of shoes just because my parents couldn't afford to buy me more than a pair each year. I went to school wearing the same pair of shoes for at least two years before they buy me another one. If they don't see any holes or tears on the shoes, they wouldn't bother buy me a new replacement. Sucks huh but it is true. That was my life before and I guess almost all children in my generation experienced the same except those kids that have parents with good paying jobs, I guess they had nice things for school.

Now that I can very well afford anything I want, I don't hesitate to buy myself what I want because I feel like I deserve it. When it comes to shoes, I have at least more than 30 pairs in my closet, mostly flats though and the rest of it are wedges or with heels of 2 or 3 inches. Same story as my husband, he said he didn't have many pairs of shoes when he was a kid, I doubt that for his father had a nice job surely he can afford to buy his kids nice stuff.

Anyway, my husband and I share the same philosophy, we buy shoes because we need them and for our feet to be comfortable. Shoes that can be used in different types of events like hunter boots for durability, comfort and performance. And designer shoes like dr. martens shoes best paired with woolrich arctic parka when in extreme cold temperature for comfort as well.

Shoe Obsession

Two of my worldly obsession are handbags and shoes. I don't know what's in these things why I am so obsessed with them. I guess it is not just me but all the women in the world love to collect or shop for purses and shoes. For those that have nice jobs, they have the money to buy 80 20 shoes or designer shoes. Others would even buy paris hilton shoes even if they cost a lot more than to buy cordani shoes. As long as they can have the pairs they desire, they don't mind spending big bucks on just a pair or two of celebrity inspired shoes.

I, as a stay-home woman and belongs to a one-income family, I do limit myself when it comes to buying stuff. My only source of income is through blogging so I would only buy for stuff that I can afford. Although shoes are my addiction, I also know which brands or stores to go to in order I can reward myself for a brand new pair of shoes.

Time To Enjoy The Outdoor

Yep, March 20th was the official day of Spring. How many of you guys have enjoyed the sun and the beautiful temperature that Spring has brought us? I bought these dresses for my big Princess last time I hang out with my girl friend Annie and her daughter at Grapevine Mills Mall. We were there bringing our little Princesses so they can join the Disney Masquerade held at the said mall two weeks ago. Spice Racks

I do love to cook. I love the idea that I can make dishes I want to eat without going out or the need for someone to prepare it for me.
