Our New Friend Put-put

I bought this very cute ipod case two weeks ago and the first time my Jadyn saw it, she uttered it is very cute  and wanted to play with it. I told her no, it is not a toy and it is not for her. Because it is now part of this household, I had to come up with a name for it, and I named it "Put-put" which Jadyn call it "Puto". Hey it's not Puto, I said Put-put! Dyaga dyaga ning bataa!

I just thought it was cute in pink and most of all it looks even more cuter when my Jadyn's hands are using it. Pink for little girls is the best, don't cha think? There is one coming for my new toy and this time it's Hello Kitty and it is PINK... let's see kinsa napud di maibog sa ako Kitty.

Toys On The List

These are toys on the list that I'd love to get for my kids for Christmas. Hopefully their dada approves of me buying new toys for the girls. These are fun yet educational toys they can play that is why I really would love to get them for the girls. Also, the little one needs her own toys for the big sister doesn't wanna share her toys with her baby sister, poor thing!

Princess Jewelry

She believes she's a Princess. She truly is our Princess since she was born until now. When you ask her name, she would say I'm Jadyn Princess, oh diba makalingaw?

To really make her feel like one we bought her a fake Princess jewelry set that includes a crown, a wand, a pair of earrings, a ring and a necklace. That made her very very happy only for one day. We know our Jadyn very well, she could play her new toy for one full day and after that she gets tired of it and the next day she wouldn't bother touching or playing with it again. So these poor jewelry of hers are scattered all over the house and some of it are broken into pieces! Good thing the set is only five dollars that doesn't hurt us much watching it fell apart.

More Of Her Collection

More of my girl's collection. You see she also collects trucks and dinosaurs. You think they are only for boys but girls love playing them too. As for the trucks, it was her dada started it all. We went to Tractor and Supply Corporation in San Antonio and he bought Jadyn two of those and then the next visit, we happened to stop by at the same store, he bought another two.

As for the dinos, she learned to love dinos when Dinosaur Train was shown on Qubo. It's one of her favorite shows now every morning. Lucky girl to have all the things she ever wished for. Thanks to her Dada for being so supportive and spoiling his little girl.

Stuffed Animals Collection

Baby girl has some toy collections including these stuffed animals in the picture. There aren't so many of them but I guess the number is growing as we keep on buying stuffed toys occasionally. She loves animals very much and for that we are trying to give her different animals when we buy her so she will have various to play with. So when someone ask me what should they give to my Baden, I will just tell them to buy her an animal stuff toy because that is what she wants. Besides, stuffed toys are everywhere and they don't cost that much either.

Toy Cars

Two of those cars in the picture are of my husband's. The blue one with wide back is a Pantera which my husband used to drive when he was a teenager, the next one is the Ford Cobra that is one of his favorites and the last one is a Ford Viper that we bought for Jadyn. Having this Pantera as a model toy car gives me an idea on what the old car shell has been sitting outside for years. My husband said it's a Pantera but he never get around to it for he has had important things to do other than working with that car.

She Loves Cars

I believe Jadyn has inherited her Dada's love of cars because she too, showed interests with cars. I bought her a toy car which is shown in the pictures below, the stripe blue one is hers and the other two are of her Dada's. Anyway, one day after we went from the car show, Jadyn asked me to take the two cars along with her original car so she can play with them.

I didn't know that until she seriously play them for an hour. I was stunned. How could a baby girl get interested in playing cars? Cars are supposed for the boys.

A Doll That He Promised

When I was growing up I didn't have so much things that I needed for school or for playing. Never do I have nice toys to play. All I had were junks, empty tin cans were made into pots, beer crown became my ladle and empty coconut shell was my plate. I had to use these junks to complete my game together with other young children in our area as we used to pretend we were cooking in the kitchen a lot. And if we get tired of that, we move on to another game by making use of scratch papers as doll dresses. We had our paper dolls drawn by someone who can draw well and we made the dresses so then we have a nice paper doll to play.

Reminiscing back my childhood where I got to play with other kids makes me want to go home. Yes, we were poor but we were happy. Laughter was heard in four corner of the house. One day, my godfather saw me playing my paper doll, he came to me and said, if you do good and work hard on your studies I promise I will give you a nice doll. I was only 7 years old back then and relied to his promise that soon I can have a nice doll. Didn't matter what it is as long as it is a doll. But that promise never came true until years and years passed by, the promise he made was forgotten...until now that I am married and have everything I need. I still cannot forget that once there was a man who promised me with a doll.

What I want to do now is move on and trying to forget what my godfather had told me decades ago. Since I couldn't have that doll anymore might as well give one to my baby girl. A doll that is very pretty and a doll house to play. I would like to buy her a miniature doll house complete with a miniature dollhouse flooring to make the best of everything. Her doll house will be a combination a pink and white in color and it would be full of miniature furniture, a kitchen complete with appliances, a dog house beside it and a girly room where she can express herself.

If my dream of having a nice doll was not achieved then I want my baby to have what I wanted when I was a kid. After all, she is my only baby and for that I am willing to give anything and everything she wants.
