April Fool's Day History
Why do we celebrate April Fool's Day? What do people most likely to do during this day? To give you a better understanding as to why this is, I did a search for its history on the internet and here it is that explains why and when it was started.

Unlike most of the other nonfoolish holidays, the history of April Fool's Day, sometimes called All Fool's Day, is not totally clear. It is not like Halloween, where despite an interesting history, most people just put on Halloween costumes, get candy, and leave it at that. There really wasn't a "first April Fool's Day" that can be pinpointed on the calendar. Some believe it sort of evolved simultaneously in several cultures at the same time, from celebrations involving the first day of spring.
The closest point in time that can be identified as the beginning of this tradition was in 1582, in France. Prior to that year, the new year was celebrated for eight days, beginning on March 25. The celebration culminated on April 1. With the reform of the calendar under Charles IX, the Gregorian Calendar was introduced, and New Year's Day was moved to January 1.

Me 20 Years From Now
This is a fun thing to do on the internet. I am so curious how I look 20 years from now! Weeeeeee honestly, I don't feel threatened of my looks shown in this computer enhanced graphic here. It doesn't look that bad at all and guess, who would want to be so concerned of my looks when people my age look the same as me.... 2o years from now.........
Try it yourself too if you are curious how you look 20 or 30 years from today.

Just So Funny
I just grabbed this from someone else's album on facebook. I just thought it was so hilarious for a baby this age, wasted from drinking that very strong liquor in the Philippines. Can you imagine your child to be doing this in reality? Hmmm of course no but there's a probability it is happening just like that Indonesian boy who smokes 40 cigs a day after being introduced to it by his own father. How sad!

Paint As Her Makeup
Having my baby around me while doing my painting job can sometimes be annoying and troublesome. I can never concentrate of my job just because she gets in the way and wants my attention if she knows I am busy doing something. Haayy the price of being a mother.
As I was finishing painting our bedroom wall, Jadyn was also busy behind me, little did I know she was doing something that is so silly.
When I first saw her face, I didn't know how and what to react upon seeing her face like that in the pictures. I didn't know whether to be mad or to laugh at her because she screwed the newly painted wall! Hmpppp pero katawa nalang ko kay perti man guapaha ni Deden sa iya dagway, making the paint as her make-up.

2050 Haircut Style
I looked through all my photo albums in my computer and I found these hilarious photographs of my husband's head. I meant to post them sooner but it totally forgotten. One evening, he was doing his own hair as he always does. Sometimes he doesn't do it right so I need to atleast make it better.
The night he cut his hair he didn't call for help and then when I saw his back, this is what I found out.. look at pic number one...

... hmmm what is this style? crooked pahak pa jud... then I came to the rescue and straighten the cut myself... second pic look at that...
... I don't know what was in my mind that is why I couldn't make it right. Pahak sa kilid.. I was laughing too hard that I almost peed in my pants. He asked me to shave even more so to make the bald spot disappear.. so I did it, his head turned out to be like that of a bottle cap "takob suka" as we call it.Thursday, June 26, 2008
