Walgreens Prescription Savings Club

Walgreens actually took an unprecedented step of offering Express Scripts a guarantee that their prices would match or beat the average costs per adjusted prescription of all other pharmacies in the Tricare network. The release says, only those patients on certain prescription insurance plans managed by Express Scripts are  impacted. You should check out your Walgreens pharmacies near you to confirm this. 

Another step that the pharmacy is taking to minimize disruption is offering a special discount on annual membership for Walgreens Prescription Savings Club. You may join now and for they have a special January promotion for only $5 or $10 for family membership which entitles you to receive savings on your prescription medication on more than 8,000 brand name and all generic medications.
