Typhoon Sendong Dramatic Rescue of Survivors

Here's a dramatic actual video during the rescue of flash flood survivors. They were rescued by M/V YANG A, chartered by HOLCIM CEMENT. There were 8 of them (3 adults and 5 children including 2 yrs.old daughter. They were washed away at least 12 km. from the nearest land of ILIGAN. Thank God for sparing their lives. God help them recover from this traumatic experience and accept those lost souls in His kingdom. May He also heals those aching heart of the survivors whose loved ones have died and still missing!

So Unfortunate of Her

Here's a news footage of a young woman of 21 years old left in the country for Jordan hoping to help her family from poverty only to be killed by her employer. I hate stories like this. I feel for her and her family. I really do hope the Philippine government will do something about this, seek for justice and help the family who lost their loved ones abroad. So so unfortunate of her to end up that way.

Not Appropriate For Little Children

It was my little siblings who introduced Happy Tree Friends show on youtube to my little girl. They watched it together and the little kids seemed to enjoy watching it including my girl. One time, I sat down with them and watched it myself, I found out this is kind of weird cartoons for them to be watching. It is violent, bloody and a lot of decapitated head, arms and body scenes that would bring nightmares to some kids. My Jadyn's reaction while watching this video was OW! She sounded as if she was hurt and feeling the pain too.

You as an adult, you will have to watch it yourself first before you let your kids see for it really is not appropriate for your kids or little children, that is of course in my own opinion.

Lady Antebellum -- Need You Now

This is a song by Lady Antebellum that keeps playing back in my brain right now. I just love this song so much that I anticipate they play this on any grand awarding events like AMA and CMA. Country music is easy to the ears and that you can sing along with the artist plus they do have lyrics that are easy to remember. Let's listen to country music this morning folks to uplift your sleepy soul.

Looks Like Jadyn??

I have watched this beautiful video of a little girl named Amy Castle several times before, singing her original song way back 1994. The reason I am bringing this up it's because Darlene as I call her "Mamu" shared this to me on FB wall saying that the girl looked like my Jadyn. So I went to play the video again and I must agree, she is indeed has some features in her face that are somewhat the same of Jadyn's. If you have seen my baby girl's recent photos, can you compare them with this girl in the video. Do you agree with what my friend was saying?

Idaho Murder

It saddened me when I hear someone of my race killed by their husbands or criminals in America. This woman was Filipino who was shoot twice at the back of her head by her estranged husband. She left her two kids behind with no mother to call for the rest of their life. So selfish of the father to do that to his kids eh!

I know I've posted this on my FB wall already but I'd like to share it here too for the sake of other people who haven't seen or heard the news.

Dancing Flight Attendants

When flying in an airplane I don't normally pay attention to their safety/emergency demonstration, I felt it's boring. I don't even read the instructions located at the back of each seat. This video up here is a good tactic getting passengers' attention. They are quite entertaining, I must admit. This for sure have their eyes focused on what the crews are doing for all to be safety. Nice job, indeed.

This song is stuck in my mind. I keep humming it right now. For some reasons its message struck me the most when it was being played in the oath taking ceremony yesterday in USCIS office. God knows how I tried to hold my tears the whole time I was there. I didn't want anybody to see me being so emotional. I was so touched, proud, happy, blessed and all those positive emotions in me were running all over me. GOD BLESS THE U.S.A!!

Summer Girl by LFO (Lyte Funkie Ones)

I would have not remembered watching one of my favorite boy bands' music videos entitled "Summer Girls" if I didn't read on the news about Rich Cronin's passing last night. Watching the video brings back good old memories way back in high school. Watching music videos like theirs somehow gave me encouragement to find me a better man someday for they looked so good and I was already very much attracted with Americans back then. Weeewww my favorite LFO member was Brad Fischetti for he was so dashingly handsome to my eyes.

Sharing Popsicle With Her Dog

If Jadyn shared her popsicle to other dogs then it would be so gross but since it was Chichai she shared it with then it's probably fine because we know what our dog is eating and she doesn't go anywhere except in our backyard. Just the idea of she is an inside dog, that should give us an assurance that she is a clean dog. Watch the video embedded and you'll see how generous our Jadyn is for she shares her popsicle with her one and only playmate, doggy.

The Best Wedding Accident

So you the bride is responsible in choosing a wedding venue. Be sure though that it won't be near or close by a pool or any kind of bodies of water for accidents do happen just like what is seen in the video above. It's the best man's clumsiness that caused it all, the petite bride and the pastor were thrown into the water. You don't want this to ever happen to your wedding, do you? Just watch it!

What Would You Do?

What would you do if this happened to you? Being in a helicopter/plane sitting directly behind the pilot and all of the sudden, he passed out? What would you do if you are the only who is conscious and you see the helicopter or plane is descending too fast? If you were to ask me, I would just calmly close my eyes and rest my safety to the Lord!

Amish Grace Based On The Tragic Amish School House Shooting

My husband and I watched this movie the other night and I thought it was a great example of the difference between one that truly has LOVE in their heart and how murder develops. It is a story where true faith is tested during the darkest hours of one's life. It is a story where forgiveness is taken seriously for if they let their anger rule their heart then it is where the evil starts and if they learn to forgive there will be no more evil and peace will be achieved.

Such an inspiring movie to watch and I am glad I didn't miss it played at Lifetime Movie Network.

COPS is one of my favorite reality shows to watch on t.v.even when I was still in the Philippines. Unknowingly I could get married to a man whose work is policing. The song BAD BOYS is the theme song of COPS which is sung by Inner Circle. Listen to it and you'll sway your shoulders while you sing!

If Life Is So Short

I'd like to share to you guys this video titled If Life Is So Short by my favorite boy bands when I was growing up, The Moffatts. This song used to be my most favorite song in my highscool days and listening back to these guys brings back nice and bitter memories I
had. The lyrics just simply relay to take the chance to do whatever you wanna do and love somebody with all your heart before you run out of time.

Personally, the song is simply telling us to enjoy life to the fullest for it is so short to be spent with grudges and bitterness while living in this world. Enjoy listening and watching the video guys!
