A Very Emotional Photo

While we are enjoying our comfortable chair at home, a lot of soldiers are out there in the battlefield away from their family fighting for their country. Take a moment and say a little prayer to our soldiers who risk or have risked their own lives so we may enjoy the freedom we are taking advantage right now.

Hopefully I can do this to my gadget too once I can change my computer into a new MAC computer. I am just waiting for the perfect timing because right now, I can't do anything with my music in my itunes unless the computer is new. It has been a month since I received that notice from the immigration telling me they received my application. I am waiting on the approval notice which for me is taking too long, I am thrilled whether my application will be accepted or denied. God forbid, I paid a good amount of money for that application. Getting my sister over here seems to me the right decision so that she can have a better life. Right now she is in 5th grade. By the time she is almost done in high school she should be here joining with us in the United States.

If ever the visa processing is finished before she graduates high school that will be awesome so she will experience how it is studying here. I know there will be a huge difference between here and the Philippines' way of teaching. While back home, teachers have to speak aloud so students can hear them. I Love Nikon Digital Camera

I have  this Nikon digital camera for two years now. It is the only camera I have that lasted this long. It is my fourth camera since I got here in the States. The past cameras we had were all damaged and lost by me. Our girl started using her own computer at age two. Since she is still a child, her knowledge to what sites she is going to use are limited. There are many educational websites that most toddlers and kids above 5 can go to in order to learn. Howard Computers

I am somewhat in denial that my two-year old baby girl is now using her own computer. It is just unbelievable because at her early age, she knows how to get on the websites to watch her favorite cartoons or going to Starfall site. The other day, she amazed me so much at how smart she is. She opened the Starfall site all by herself.

I left her in her bedroom after she turned the power on of her computer and said, I'll be back! Meaning I didn't want to stay longer waiting in her slow computer to start up. It takes ages before you could click on any of the icons on the screen.

Sometimes I just want to slam her computer down just because it has got something in it that making it pretty slow. Someday when she is old enough and use computer to help her in school, we would want to buy her a new one like these Howard custom computers I am looking at right now. Of course prices are kind of high for new units but maybe we can find that is refurbished or custom computers.

I am also in the process of saving up some money to replace this kinda old laptop of mine. That will take time though. Howard computers also sells custom laptop which I would like to take a closer look after posting this entry so I can have an idea on what kind of laptop I should be getting in the future and how much.

Our 5th Camera

I just bought us a new digital camera for below 100 dollars. This time it is a lot cheaper than previous cameras we had for I kept damaging them. No matter what the price is, expensive or not anything that come in touch with my hands will be destroyed. What a curse of fate eh.

I bought a Nikon digital camera this time for a change and this is gonna be our 5th digital camera. We have had 3 Kodak cameras and one Sony but all of them just slipped through my hands, kay danghag man. I hope this cheaper one will last long or I'll be forever disappointed with myself for being so clumsy and not taking good care of our things.

Ebay is the best place when it comes to finding digital cameras for there are so many stores to choose from with a lot cheaper price. The one I bought is a ten mega pixel with 3x optical zoom, it is not as powerful as the previous cams we had but good enough to take better pictures.

I don't see white tv much around here. For some reason most stores don't sell them that I don't understand why. There are just certain areas in the house that would look great when white tv is being placed there. If you find it hard searching for white tv then I know a place to buy it.
