Social Share Buttons are Up, Finally!

I spent almost an hour trying to install the social share buttons for this blog. A few of my fellow hoppers complained about not seeing my share buttons below my blog post yesterday so I had to fix it... and just when I thought I had fixed it, I joined the social share thread on FB and then I hear the same complain again this morning. Could it be that they use a different browser than mine? I use Google Chrome as always but there seemed to be no problem on my end.

Anyway, to end the misery of not seeing my share buttons, I had to look for another code or site that offers easy instruction for installation. At last! Found it and didn't take me long to install the said buttons. Earlier, I almost lost my patience because the more I screw the HTML code of this blog, the more I messed up. Good thing my baby here is doing her thing and didn't bother me much. 

I believe I have installed the necessary buttons correctly so it is good to go....

Facebook Rocks!

I have been saying this from the past that Facebook rocks! It bridges the gap between people who live across the world. Through it, we are able to communicate with family and friends in just a click away. Not only that it enables us to reconnect with those that made quite a memory in our lives.

I am grateful I am on Facebook. I found friends I used to hangout with back in elementary, highschool and college days. Most of all, I also reconnected with my long lost cousin who just left Cebu without saying a word, that was when she was only 13 or 14 years old. Now she is 27. Recently I searched for this girl, a close buddy of mine in AMA before and yes! Miracle works for us because she happened to have an account there too.

I searched on her first name and it showed a result, I then sent her a private message saying if she is the girl I used to laughed and hangout with in college, please respond. To my surprise, she responded right away and now we are back in contact with her. How lucky I am???

New Face of Facebook

I don't like the new homepage of facebook. It is very confusing when you look for something you can't find it right away because you'll have to familiarize the page first before you can do anything. Not only that, people's updates are late. It could minutes before you could see the new walls they posted. I think I'm not the only one complaining about this. I have seen few people shouting on FB how they hate the new facebook. I wish they will stop changing it for people are going crazy with the new face of Facebook.
