My Pure Definition Of "Life Is Good"

Pet Care

We do have a dog that is mixed Chihuahua, part Pekinese and Duchsund. She is a small dog yet very active but despite of her being so naughty and playful, we all love her especially my husband. He treats the dog as one of her daughters and this dog of ours feels like she is human, she is a child and she feels that she is well-loved by her family.

We have had this dog for 4 years now. Looking at her baby and old pictures, I can tell she has grown a lot since she came to join our family 4 years ago. Chihuahuas are usually very active and since she is part Chihuahua she just can't sit and relax especially when there are people in the house. We believed that she is going to calm down when she gets old but we don't see that happening. Another irritating habit she does is that she barks a lot in the house whenever there are people walking outside or somebody knocking on our door.

However, this dog of ours is so precious! She became Jadyn's bestfriend. I tell you they are like sisters too, they play together, run together and most of all lick each other's mouth lol. Chicha is her name, she is one healthy dog but I cannot be sure if she is totally clean eventhough she is an inside dog for when she goes outside who knows what she eats out there?

We keep our dog happy and healthy by bringing her to a veterinarian once in a while. Oh by the way, she is due with her vaccine soon and for that this is going to be another over a hundred dollar bill once she gets out of the veterinary clinic. It truly is expensive having a pet but with Frontline Plus for dogs, hopefully it helps us ease the burden of high bills. I will tell my husband about this so he can register our dog to this program.

Be Kind To Animals

Doggy drinks water that my girl gave to her directly from a cup where the human girl drinks her water from. It looks or sounds gross knowing that she'd use it to drink water sometimes and sharing it to the animal?? I don't think I could use this cup ever again. But knowing a child doesn't know what she was really doing, she'd probably use the cup over and over personally. Some would think it's just okay since Chicha is an indoor animal and she got the vaccines she need yet I don't find it hygienic. 

Although I can rinse the cup thoroughly but the idea the dog has drank from it..ewwwwwww... Would you dare sip some water from the same cup? I don't know if I can do that.. but anyways, as for Jadyn doing the kind gesture, it shows us that she is kind to her pet although sometimes Chicha receive some maltreatment from her own playmate. Well, what do you expect she is just a child, you know?

Moments With Her Daddy

Our dog thinks or feels she is human too. But too bad for her she was born to be a "dog". If she was human we could always bring her wherever we go or whenever we go out but because she's a dog there are places that we go to where dogs or animals are not allowed so she finds herself always left alone in the house.

Though she is an animal, that doesn't mean she is not a daddy's girl. Just like our Jadyn, Chicha loves to play, cuddle and most of all loves spending sweet moments with her daddy too (I should say she's a rotten spoiled girl). Photos below show how she loves being with daddy. I must admit, Chicha has grown to be an adorable dog and I like her now than before. She is more cuddly and sweet after that two months we were away from home. If she were to choose between me and her dad, she would choose her dad because my husband is more gentle to her. 

.......... when Chicha has the chance to feel her dad's affection wherever it is or no matter time of day it is, she has it....

.......... two photos are the common scenes every night where we all sit together for a movie...she would sit on my lap first while her dad is eating and when he's done, she will just leave me and go to her dad's lap...

Best friends are what they are. They share a special bond together since they have known each other when they were infants.  They are almost of the same age, only Chichang is 2 months older than she is. They play together, sit and lay down together comfortably. But when Chichang is sleeping and Jadyn mess with her, rest assured that she'd get mad too, put a tooth mark on her skin but not totally making Jadyn bleed. 

Oh Must Love Life

This is a picture of our spoiled brat dog, Chichai. She must lovin' life with us for she is being treated well like one of us. Her Dada bathe her, feed her and cuddle her just like a human baby. Isn't her life grand? Don't you wish your dog has a life like hers? Oh she got all the things she needs in this world to live, a nice and loving family (except for her mommy that loves biting her ), comfortable and cozy home, a rough baby to play with and most of all the love she gets from all of us. Lucky dog, really spoiled!

Doggy and The Stroller

I just took these photos of the dog in my baby's stroller toy minutes ago. I thought it was so cute of Jadyn for choosing the live dog to put in the small stroller rather than using her dolls. And the doggy herself loved it there for she stayed for a couple minutes. Only she walked away from the stroller when she felt left out by Jadyn. This is just toooooooo cute to look at that is why I share it here so you guys can see it too.

Nesting Buddies

It's a season for birds. Birds that you cannot see during Winter is here all summer long multiplyng everywhere. They even built a nest in our front porch. I thought they only made it to rest on it during night time but one day I saw there were four peeking heads of small baby birds. They were so cute and I wished I had a quick touch of them but my husband hindered me from doing so for the parent birds might leave and stop feeding the small ones. Now the birds are gone, the baby birds are capable of flying and free. My husband removed the nest so they won't come back anymore, I just don't feel comfortable having them especially in the front porch. Poops in the front porch looks unsanitary.

Dog Lover She Is

Baby girl's love of dogs has grown stronger over the years I can tell. Wherever we go and she sees a dog, rest assured baby girl will be delighted to greet and pet the dog even if she doesn't know its name. She has her own dog named Chichai and she became her bestfriend as they grow together. The dog is only 2 months older than the baby so they feel like they are sisters, too bad the dog was born to be a dog but despite of that, Chichai feels she is one of us.

....... photos above and below are of my Jadyn walking her dog around the block. Guess she liked it a lot but I couldn't trust her holding the leash for our dog is a sneaky one and I was afraid she would just run away from the baby and let loose.

Must Love Dogs

It's too obvious how my baby loves her dog Chichai. They are only two months apart. Chichai arrived here in our home when she was only two weeks old and then after 2 months, our baby girl Jadyn was born.

It's such a blessing to have these small creatures in our home. They truly make good playmates and hopefully bestfriends too. I shall say, they are inseparable!

I just woke up moments ago and here is what I received. Sharing

We bought this sky blue doggy pad originally for Deden to put in her playpen but it is too big and too bulky for her so I just let it sat beside the pen until one day the dog Chichai igat used it without any permission.

Deden only likes to use it when on the floor but I don't like her crawling all the time. If she does, she'll get on the pad with the dog of course and they'll play together.

Good thing though that the dog is sure kind enough to share her pad to Deden and not feeling jealous about it.

A Great Poser Too

So you think you're the only who can project yourself in front of the camera? Well,you're wrong...you're very wrong! We do have our eldest baby here that is not only naughty but feeling like a human too. Whenever she sees me aiming the lens at her,she will just remain in her position and not a single move is being made.

This dog of ours thinks that she is human.Too bad though that she was born to be a dog.No matter what she feels or thinks SHE IS NOTHING BUT A DOG.I even ask her to get a mirror because she might forget that she IS STILL A DOG.

Chichai's Mess

You know our dog is very naughty.She will do anything only to get attention from us.If she won't be too makulit,she'll be chewing on her pillow or bed and take all the flesh out from it and scatter all over the floor.Proof is the photo.We provided her comfortable pads and what she did? She damaged it.

Really naughty dog eh.But despite all that,we still love her because she can be fun sometimes.Annoying at times too!

She's In Heat

We noticed that our dog got skinny since we got back from visiting my FIL.We took her to a pet hotel for 3 days we were gone.When we came back,I noticed she lost weight,until now.

I thought the hotel staff did not feed her right or not treating her right.But...I found out that "she's in heat".In our native language,nanguwag ang kagwang nga iro! There's this blood dripping from her little palalat every now and then.

I hate it,it's gross because she likes sleeping on our sofa or chair and her palalat dripping that leaves some blood on them.Ewww

I Love Her

When she behaves herself,I give her a soft touch or a kiss to let her know that I am pleased with her.If she makes a mess,I just ignore her begging attention from me.

She feels she's human and that she wants to be cuddled and be loved too.So we're giving it to her because she deserves our affection.

Tail Chaser

Our dog has nothing to do with her life but chasing her tail.It's nice when she does that for she entertains us especially the human baby.When we are busy doing something she chase after her tail to catch our attention,smart dog,isn't she?

New Species

These are newly added species in Fort Worth Zoo.It was my first time to see penguins in reality.I always thought they are adorable and they are one of my favorite animals.


I have seen the movie Happy Feet,it's all about a boy penguin that has terrible voice and couldn't sing but he is good in tapping his feet.

Appreciating His Dog

I can hear my husband from here keep giving such nice appreciation to his dog.He must love his dog that much for they shower together and the dog loving it.She just love the gentle hands of my husband and the warm water flowing into her small body.

Unlike me,I am so rough to her.I remember during her first few days being at home when she was just a puppy,each time I gave her a bath,she would growl because I just scrub her fragile body and didn't care if she was hurting or not.
