I am Feeling Miserable

Sickness started last Friday morning with my first born. When she woke up in the morning she complained about being sick and didn't want to go to school but I insisted that she should go, no reason for her to be absent. But then when she came home in the afternoon on that same day, she was shivering and complaining that she is very cold even though she has her hat, coat and gloves on.

My husband said that we should listen to our child more next time because she truly was sick until now. She sneezed a lot and was running a fever. Thankfully, she is done with fever though the cough still lingers. I, on the other hand caught her virus. I have a fever, feeling body aches and pains and hoarse throat. I don't want to be sick, I hate the feeling of being sick. Besides, I have two kids to take care of and yes, even if I am sick I still can't get my day off.

I feel so miserable right now! Good thing I don't have to go out and there is no school for the whole week due to Thanksgiving! It is also very nasty outside, raining, wet and oh so bitter cold. Better stay in if I don't have business outside.

Social Share Buttons are Up, Finally!

I spent almost an hour trying to install the social share buttons for this blog. A few of my fellow hoppers complained about not seeing my share buttons below my blog post yesterday so I had to fix it... and just when I thought I had fixed it, I joined the social share thread on FB and then I hear the same complain again this morning. Could it be that they use a different browser than mine? I use Google Chrome as always but there seemed to be no problem on my end.

Anyway, to end the misery of not seeing my share buttons, I had to look for another code or site that offers easy instruction for installation. At last! Found it and didn't take me long to install the said buttons. Earlier, I almost lost my patience because the more I screw the HTML code of this blog, the more I messed up. Good thing my baby here is doing her thing and didn't bother me much.

I believe I have installed the necessary buttons correctly so it is good to go....

Organic Eating and Becoming a Carton Smart

This post brought to you by Carton Smart. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you are a mommy and have been buying organic products especially produce, well, congratulations to that for you are taking steps towards healthy you and your family. It would also be a big bonus if what you are buying for your pantry are packed in tetra pak. Buying items in tetra pak may meant nothing to you but it actually has a great impact when it comes to your helping your environment. You can Become Carton Smart by continuing what you are doing, buying products in carton packages.

Examples of this are the products I received from Pacific Foods.  Their Tetra Pak carton packages are designed efficiency and environmental friendliness which takes my smaller steps towards living smarter. Talking of which, I plan of making a pumpkin recipe this coming Thanksgiving by using one of the products they sent us, the Pacific foods pumpkin puree. I haven't tried it before but I am more than willing to take a first taste of it.

I love the thought of having to try organic products in tetra paks. Aside from it being organic, free of pesticides and other harmful chemicals, tetra paks are easy to open and store. They are neat, stackable and space savers. Tetra Pak cartons are made of 70% paper, a renewable resource from selectively harvested, regrown trees that are FSC- certified.

With major holidays coming, we sure are shopping for ingredients for our holiday meals. And with that we should see to it that they are packed in cartons. That way, we are taking small steps toward a smart living.

Why Tetra Pak Cartons are Pantry Stables

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Carton Smart. All opinions are 100% mine.

I recently received free organic products from Pacific company. I can't be more happier after getting them in the mail because aside from them being organic, they are also in tetra pak cartons. I know I can use a lot of chicken stock and being able to try this Pacific unsalted simply stock is such an opportunity to be thankful for.

Using organic products is one way towards healthy eating and encouraging my family to live a healthy life without putting all those harmful chemicals that are mixed in the food we eat everyday. Aside from that, the fact that tetra pak cartons are easy to store in the pantry that saves me some space for other stuff, easy to use, I don't need a can opener to use it and they are stackable!

I can very well use them on special occasions and as for the  chicken stock, it can be used for my wanton soup. It has been raining here for two days now and it's cold so a good warm soup helps me to warm up a bit.
