You can see some yellowness in the photo but not much... first photo is of my friends in the DFW area who attended the party and made it possible through the help of the sisters Annie and Irish. Thanks to them for thinking of the baby so much...

Mellow Yellow Monday #:15 Hotdog and Mustard

At first I didn't like the taste of mustard, it taste like chicken dung and really hard to describe. I even wondered why Americans love putting it in their food such as burgers, fries and most of all in hotdogs? I have never tried tasting mustard in my home country but then when I came here in the USA, I see it's popular during grilling or at a burger house.

What I did is to try to taste the mustard bit by bit everytime I eat hotdog and later on I learned to love it. I actually find it interesting, it adds that tangy weird flavor to the meat.

Mellow Yellow Monday #:9 San Antonio Botanical Gardens

I got my eyes wide when we went to visit the San Antonio Botanical Gardens a month ago because of the wide variety of flowers they had that I haven't seen around here or in Dallas Arboretum. The entrance alone was spectacular, plenty of yellow and other colors. As we got into the garden, I was like WOW! This place is so amazinggggggg and it was perfect to just hang in there with the whole family.

Mellow Yellow Monday #:8 Sweet Yellow

These are the kind of fruits that I missed about shopping at the Asian Market. Yes, I know there are plenty of mangoes in a box but I have to buy lots of it because we don't shop their more often. Besides, mangoes are my and Jadyn's favorite. They are very sweet and not pulpy. I know nothing beats the Philippine mangoe but this kind from Mexico is good enough. These are large mangoes but I tell you what? I can eat at least 3 of it in one time with a meal if I don't control myself. What I do instead is eat one and give one to Jadyn every after meal to make the mangoes last longer.

....... bananas... the kind that we Filipinas like. This is something that we can boil, fry or simply cook with glutinous rice for snacks!

Mellow Yellow Monday #:7 Easter Egg Hunting

Jadyn and her friend Abigail went for egg hunting yesterday in Burleson. Thanks to Annie for inviting us to join them at her mother -in-law's egg hunting. My girl had a blast and got candies from egg hunting. Photos are shots of her and the yellow eggs with friend Abigail in yellow dress. And this is my entry for MYM.

Mellow Yellow Monday #:1 Cute Yellow Airplane

This is me and my little girl at the 2011 Fort Worth Air Expo just last weekend. I love this cute yellow U.S Navy plane among the planes they have on the base. It's like a toy but no it's actually a real airplane that could fly high and bring you to the sky. I wish I could take a picture of my girl in the cockpit of this plane but we were in a hurry to look at other planes so I missed the chance of her in there!

But anyway, talking about my ideal vacation, I want it to be spent in a private resort where there's only me, my husband and our baby so we can be ourselves not being bothered by anyone else. There is something about the beach that I love so much.

I love how the small waves kissing the white sands, I love the crystal glare of the sun in the middle of the ocean and most of all I love the idea how unfathomable the depth of the ocean is. It's like you can dream anything you want and send your mind the farthest it can go, after all dreaming is limitless and free.

I sympathize for their dramas and what they're going through. For me, listening to what my heart is saying is the most important thing to me. I love reconnecting with good old friends and relatives. It gives me excitement to be able to know how they have been doing since we've lost contact and of course the most special part of it is to make up the lost times...

I can be a true friend too but once you provoke me, watch out for the devil side of me will come out to come and haunt you! Hahaha kidding aside.

I am 5'1" in height and I don't consider myself too short for Filipino standards. I weigh 98 pounds which I am good at maintaining throughout summer. I can be heavier during Winter and that is understandable, cold months make me lazy and I don't do any exercise at all. Gaining weight though doesn't panic me for I don't gain that much weight nor it's hard for me to lose the extra pounds I have. What I do is eat and eat and eat and when I go up almost 100 pounds, I tend to slow down pigging out, do a little exercise or do after 6 which is very effective for me and I am good. I don't need to seriously go on dieting just like other people do. I am normally thin ya know?

I just want a pretty simple parnter to be with for life and that was so hard to find because I am picky. I don't want to put myself in a situation where I am not sure what's gonna happen next that it is why it took me almost four years searching for that one in a million person. Loyalty and security in a relationship are the two main things I would want to have for in person and grateful I found it. Absolutely lucky my husband has it all.
